There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, which will follow the rules of the network no matter what miners do. Even if every miner decided to create 1000 bitcoins per block, full nodes would stick to the rules and reject those blocks.

It has less than 80k coins and is now anon with messaging built into its wallet along with a soon to be upgraded network to accomodate better stability, reliability and new team members with some great ideas for its future.
Actually we dont interfere with the price as the market is free to determine its value but it certainly was way underpriced for a long time now if anything.

No hard fork is needed from what I'm gathering.  The dev is working on things now, so the update should be out very soon hopefully...

Told ya'll... hopefully most of you didn't miss out on the low price...

XBC team have decided to go for a Hard Fork. This is in order to provide additional stability on the blockchain going forward. Old Wallets will not be able to connect to the network and you will not be able to transfer any coins in or out of the wallet. Any staked coins will NOT be valid.

New wallets will be available after upgrade is complete.

1000% pump would be a nice place to sell 200-300 for the dump, alas. Maybe next time, 2018? Smiley

It will make things more straight forward to implement. Its not that anything was broken anyway only it required too many resources and half the hardware on the network was just overkill but with the upgrade we can change a few things at the same time while having a leaner meaner network going forward.
