Hey everyone...

After a quick restart... suddenly 0 connections to the network. Can someone share a list to add the nodes?

thanks

bitcoinplus.conf To use the .conf simply open notepad and copy/paste the nodes below and save as bitcoin.conf and place this file into your executables. To find executables just type roaming into search and click roaming>bitcoinplus and insert that in there and close it.

Thanks bud, did that but still getting a lot of network downtime. Is there any version of the software that I can use on a VPS to setup a node? So I at least can guarantee a connection?

On another note, I read that the client supports Tor without any setup. How can I test if its connection to the onion? thanks!

There should be around 20 connections. It usually takes a while for the wallet to find a connection after it has been disconnected and started up again and the Tor connection can take a long time to connect.

I dont know about any other version of the software being available but you probably could compile something to suit your needs if you wanted the source code is here: https://github.com/bitcoinplusorg/xbcwalletsource

If setting up any type of daemon for anything the .conf file will be located here: /home/<<<username>>>/.bitcoinplus/bitcoinplus.conf

To start the daemon run this : /src/./bitcoinplusd -daemon

To get a list of available commands for generating addresses and TX etc.. run this: /src/./bitcoinplusd help

Guys and Gals,

I don't want to beat around the bush...  I'm done with XBC.  This has been a non rewarding battle.  I want to spend the energy that I have on me, myself, and I, and not cleaning up fud, coin swap misses, node downtime, website edits, or anything else xbc related for that matter.  For anyone that says anything, I've been helping xbc for over two years now...  I've had legal threats, money stolen, sleepless nights and everything in between while trying to keep this coin alive.  Its time for the major shareholders to step up to the plate.  I have less than 200 xbc to my name.  I have never been paid anything other than 500 xbc by another team member when the new wallet was released.  Thanks for your help guy, you know who you are, but this didn't even cover my stolen coins, much less all the btc that I've, really egghead and I, wasted keeping this coin alive.  And who the hell do I turn to when MY btc get stolen while trying to get funds together for a wallet update?  Do you hear me fudding or blasting peoples accounts over it, no.  But enough is enough, and venting is long overdue.

AND by the way, I was also stuck hoping to transfer my 200 xbc when someone pushed the price up during the market freeze at poloniex so that I could make a few bucks, but that didn't work out either.  This was not us, or any other XBC member that I know...  I don't know who said we were trying to scam everyone then, but this is a small part of why I'm leaving.  Seems like having to deal with short-tempered quick trigger pullin' fud'ing teens is a major part of being part of a crypto team.

I will need to transfer things to another TRUSTED team member.  Everything has been paid for the month, so this transition needs to take place by the end of may.  May 20th to be exact.  If no one steps up to the place, then so be it, i will just let everything expire.  I'd rather it fall apart than give it to someone who will screw everyone for the third or fourth time.

With the sell off in all the alt coins that have risen last 6 months I think a lot of that money will flow into Bitcoin plus which should be a top 20 coin soon

JJMV

I have worked with JJMV for 2 years now and have to say this is the probably the lowest moment in XBC history when a dedicated hardworking and honourable team leader has reached such a level of understandable frustration that he has come to this decision.I consider JJMV a friend before a colleague and respect his decision and would like to take this opportunity to thank him for his selfless contribution to the XBC community and wish him well in both his professional and personal future.

Thank you JJMV I salute you.

It is all in hand. I'm waiting to confirm a couple of things with JJMV and Egghead. Essentially there will not be any major changes. This is still a community coin. Anyone who wants to help out by way of resources or ideas get in touch.

I don't think there will be any issues with JJMV leaving but sad to see him go of course because he has been around for a very long time and has help rescue XBC with egghead123 and oldnoob so it is almost like end of an era but I think they will have made sure the changeover will be smooth and that they have left a good legacy of course.
