The only similar coin regarding supply ratio would be Byteball, 117,610 units, 76$ at 8.9 million$ cap, and it's not even listed on Polo exchange

@BitcoinPlusBus

Fully agree with what you said.
(and btw, i was certainly NOT refering to any team members, but rather outsiders who wouldn't hesitate to sacrifice XBC if it could yield them a quick buck)
The team has done a superb job so far, and price performance is reflecting it, XBC is about $400k market-cap already and coinmarketcap ranking #155,
i recall it was ranked around #200 not so long ago. Everyone who owns some coins, owes to the team.

I think we all want the best for XBC and for it to have a bright future and strive to the TOP.
Hopefully not a lack of conviction or confidence is the reason why you said you hold a few coins?
I'm sure many wish they could afford some more coins, me included. But also have to pay bills, medication, serving debts and other expenses.
Anyway, i have no doubt whatsoever, that the team members combined (including the Fund), hold enough coins to fully legitimize them even for toughest decisions.

I was more concerned about potential negative influences from outside, from those who might NOT have the best long-term interests for XBC in their hearts,
but only looking for a short-term opportunity to take advantage of or to make a quick profit from. (like Pump'n'Dump groups for example)
There should be no easy (or cheap) way for such profiteers to hijack or overtake the voting, just by being vocal or raise their voices, which of course is cheap.

As long as to cast a vote costs absolutely nothing, the voting may always remain considerably flawed.
(because literally everyone can have multiple or even unlimited votes, while the community as a whole has no control over such an abuse)
Logic implies, that godknowswho could take advantage and try to influence or even shape the future course of XBC, towards whatever direction they desire, even
to intentionally damage XBC and all its coinholders, only to turn a quick profit.

XBC has thinnest sell wall i've seen as of yet.

Sell Orders
Total:
7840.65150240
XBC

What happens when that total reaches zero?  Smiley

Then there would be no liquidity/no market/no volume = delisting so bagholders not using staked coins at least for liquidity would only have themselves to blame for that scenario.

I think it might be time to find an incentive for people to take their coins away from Poloniex.
Maybe find some more use cases for XBC. Congrats on CoinPayments! Its a start.

The majority of XBC holders have their coins deposited on poloniex and one of the largest XBC bagholders namely the "bitcoinplus community" also have their balance deposited with poloniex. The largest balances are the exchanges and the XBC community as a whole along with a few other larger stake holders.

Nice job there and in theory XBC should accomodate approx 50.5 Transactions Per Second.

So which big exchange are we talking about? Is it Chinese?
Also, is there a community strategy to counter the negative price effects of etf approval, or will this be beneficial for us?

IMO it's not something XBC needs a strategy for. It's not something we can really control and given how small our market cap is, I don't think it will have much of an effect. The price going to much higher levels is not even something that is dependent on doing more than XBC has already. Based on the quality of the actual product itself, the value seems much higher than the price currently. Even with a great PR push there wasn't a huge buzz in terms of volume but I believe that a lot of traders are followers and a more substantial liquidity and price down the road would be an attractive thing for the market. The actual coin can stand in its own right and works great. The price can be sustained at a much higher level once XBC is in strong hands who only buy and/or are accumulating. The volume I see appears to be healthy enough with large buys from time to time. Anyone trying to accumulate to hold long term isn't going to quickly raise the price though, they will logically want to buy slowly (within reason) if they believe they can get a better price. I know this is going on right now it's just I'm not sure to what extent.

Polo market is in a bad shape right now.
Support is currently at its weakest.

Seems like the coin is at a make or break point.
No room for any wrong moves, we should be cautious.

Low liquidity may allow to add only one additional major exchange, at least for now.
BTC38 may be the right choice, this exchange alone has *catapulted* Zcoin (XZC) from $0.30 to $2.35 in only 3 months,
through the XZC/CNY (Yuan) fiat market (!!), while providing about 10times the daily volume of Bittrex, most of the time (but recently narrowing).
In most days of these past 3 months, the BTC38 XZC/CNY fiat market brought in a volume of $230k - $250k DAILY !!
If XZC were listed only at Bittrex, it would most likely still trade at somewhere between $0.30-$0.50 !
BTER on the other hand seems to have very low volume for most altcoins.

We should keep an eye at the steps taken and integrations completed by Zcoin, these guys have apparently done a WHOLE LOT right.

It does seem like we can go back to 100k sats this way. If we hit a new exchange, like BTC38, that would certainly place our marketcap at 1+ m $
