new to this, when your coins go into stake in your wallet, when can you stop staking them?  like if i want to transfer them later on. thank you guys

There is an option under settings to allocate coins so they are not staked so that can spend them whenever you want.
You will not be earning a stake reward for those coins while you do this obviously.

yean i saw the setting, but i meant for the coins that appear as "stake"  when will they become available ?  like how long is the "lock in" period?

110 confirmations

Good call EGStrategies. This is correct.Once they have minted a block technically they are not doing anything, just waiting to be confirmed.Once they have found a block they become unspendable until 110 confirmations.

how long until they become "mature" and start earning reward again?  just trying to learn more. thanks guys!

Coins are spendable when they are staking, that's mining for a PoS block. Once they find one they disappear for 110 confirmations until mature. As to how long they take to start minting that's based on coin age, network weight etc.

What can we do to get this coin listen on Bittrex?

Do they want some $$$ in order to list it? what does it take?

We have tried reaching out to them for a few years now so at this stage its up to them if they want to list us or not.Nothing more we can do with them.

It would serve them well to list this coin. They would collect the 20% mining stake reward as they hold customer's XBC deposits for trading.
They have some reputable coins with very low volume DGD(the reputable one) - $7,991 WeTrust(dunno this one) - $2,979  https://coinmarketcap.com/exchanges/bittrex/

XBC volume would be sufficiently above that at all times.

Do we need someone on the inside... :/

@BitcoinPlusBus do they ignore us or do they want something like $$$? i heard $10,000 to get it listed but I'm not sure. Is this remotely true?

Shittrex want coins to pay 10,000 dollars for a review only and this still won't guarantee a listing so coins might lose their money anyway.Fucking shady exchange looking at their thread. It's full of complaints about sudden disabling of accounts and freezing peoples money without warning.Forget these scammers and try somewhere else.

Compared to Poloniex $2k withdraw limit per day and refusing to verify me for 3 months... to this day...
I was one of those affected by bittrex re-validation crap. I uploaded the docs and was verified within 2 minutes.
Bittrex also has no withdrawal limits. (100 BTC per day for verified customers)
Operationally speaking they are a better option that poloniex.

I am not against the idea of pooling together $10,000 in order to submit the coin for review. I think the benefits of this coin, staking specifically is attractive enough on its own to get this coin listed.

Poloniex 2k limit withdrwawal per day is borderline fraud.

Poloniex is far better exchange than Bittrex and has served XBC community well. You may not have had much problems with verification on Bittrex but hundreds or maybe thousands of users have had their information submitted and still no verification far longer than you waited for Poloniex.

More than 50 topics in btc forums about Bittrex and not one is good.

We are thinking more than an additional function for the wallet to find out if it is possible to implement with this particular update so in between completing around the wallet and getting some strengthin to the network it is taking much more time than anticipated nevertheless great improvement has been created with through an agreement on dispersal of some coins through the use of virtual private server and some of this has already begun while using test wallets. We are all on several timezones right here so its dependent on coordination and concensus among those giving their resources and time for this function.

Poloniex holds the Bitcoin Plus development wallet which sits at 14,000 shares and stakes 20% yearly until 2030 or so. They aren't de-listing Bitcoin Plus anytime soon. Bittrex and other exchanges will follow suit and add Bitcoin Plus probably next year. When the $$$ make sense they all follow suit.

Bitcoin Plus is following the same pattern and path that Bitcoin did early on. 1-2 years from now there will be people on here posting how they wish they would have bought this at $50 each...now it's $10,000 each. There are now 10+ Digital Currencies with a billion dollar marketcap and I would gamble that Bitcoin Plus will be another billion dollar plus marketcap coin in 2 years. You have massive amounts of development taking place in this coin that we would have only dreamed of a year ago like SegWit, major Dev, and a 100 more things. And the developments are just getting started

Bitcoin Plus is no joke. This one is as real as it gets. And the knuckleheads that come on here and post Scam Coin are as dumb as it gets. Every coin has those people. Bitcoin has had them forever.

When Hedge Funds start eating Bitcoin Plus it will be a new adventure like we've never seen before. And they are coming.

Yes you are probably right about that. Poloniex will probably not de-list the coin because they are invested in it themselves.
But i sure I'm not the only one who thinks poloniex is a risky exchange. They may get shut down entirely or the good ol' hack.

The main issue with them is the 2K withdraw limit they impose.

Any idea if it is possible to list this coin on a distributed exhange like etherdelta (is etherdelta only RC20 coins?)
or 0x
or some other distributed exchange?

Poloniex is no riskier than Bittrex or Coinbase. They will be around for a very long time. They have daily limits of 2k, 7k, 25k and unlimited and i'm sure that stems from AML and KYC regulation.

Digital Currencies including Bitcoin Plus will rise to a new level from 2018 onward due to Chicago Mercantile Exchange, Wall Street, Derivatives, Institutional money, and all of the other Billions and Trillions heading our way. I wouldn't worry about more exchanges. Just let it run it's course and hope you have lots of Bitcoin Plus Smiley

Does anyone here have higher than 2K withdraw limit on Poloniex? How long did it take Poloniex to verify you?

Poloniex are not "invested" in XBC.They simply are the most reliable and long standing exchange in the business where XBC is concerned. We have never had one issue with them since this project began and that speaks for itself.

They may get shut down entirely or the good ol' hack.

As can any exchange out there.Storing your coins on an exchange is never recommended.

Quote
The main issue with them is the 2K withdraw limit they impose.

They don't impose anything. There is an option to verify and have a higher withdrawl limit. The lower withdrawl limit is actually a better option security wise if you do have large funds on an exchange. The maximum amount that can be stolen within 24 hrs if your account is compromised is only 2k and not 25k upwards so it's a blessing for some and a curse for others. At least your whole account is not emptied by the time you notice it has been compromised.

We are waiting for NVO DEX to be ready next year and we will be listing XBC on it once it is live if it works out.
