Hi I'm pretty much new to this but want to invest.  I have paypal.  I also don't want to get scammed.  If we could talk on the phone first just so I know you're not from Nigeria that would be great.

Peace.  Thanks
Mike

unfortunately there's a large majority of people who view paypal as too succeptible to scamming.  I'm beating them to it by letting you know that not many people will sell you any btc w\ paypal for fear of chargebacks.

While I've been using paypal for years and my paypal account is verified and well established, it doesn't matter to most people.

this is one of the reasons only, for example i sold 8 coins now for someone, and payapal decided they want to hold the payment for review for 24 hours, im almost certain the sender is legit and payapl is being theirselves, i still can't take the risk.

Yeah I bought 105 bitcoins on bitcoinmarket via PP, they put a six day hold on the transaction.  Told the guy to hold off confirming it till it goes through.  Stupid PP

This is because PayPal is completely unsafe when dealing with virtual items. They only offer protection for physical items....regardless if your account is verified or anything else.

The seller only has to enter the words "virtual/digital items" and paypal will close the claim stating they cannot take any further action.
