Use poclbm, or GUI miner. A simple search should let you find it. Sign up for a pool, and use the extra flags: -v -f 0 -w 128

You should hopefully get about 100-110 mhash.

If you love me, you'd give me a Satoshi!

Cgminer is the best and that's not just an opinion..

One can set a back-up pool in GUI miner by creating two different miners. One miner should have normal flags and the other one should have -f 60 in addition to those normal flags.

BAMT is the Best All-around Miner There is.

I really don't know which is the best, but BAMT is a great option if you take the time to set it up.

Umm that's now what BAMT stands for, nor is BAMT really a miner. It actually just runs cgminer (or phoenix, if you really want).

Tips? 1crazy8pMqgwJ7tX7ZPZmyPwFbc6xZKM9

I know that's not what BAMT(BIG A Miner Thing) stands for, I was just having fun with word play.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but aren't miners slightly more efficient when run on BAMT?

Depends. What makes them efficient is the fact that BAMT isn't very graphics intensive. Mining on any stripped down Linux should yield similar results. I remember LinuxCoin a while back was pretty good.

cgminer + custom .bat files gets my vote. Why? Complete detailed customized terminal command promptg gives you the ability to squeeze every last drop of mhash out of your card. With some trial, and error of course Smiley

However, if OP is looking for something that works and is easy to set up GUI Miner is the way to go for him.

I didn't say it was hard, but I'm fairly certain GUIminer is much easier to set up.

no CGminer was easier to setup than GUIminer because GUIminer has problem's getting it to start which a newbie can't do.

but once GUIminer is running it is easy to configure everything
