Hi,

Have anyone face this problem with Australian Exchange known as IGOT? I have sold my bitcoin there and request for fiat withdrawal on May 02 2015 and I haven't yet received my money until now?

Is this IGOT a scam? has anyone use this exchange and face this problem?

you experience with them is much appreciated

Regards

it's a new exchange to me, it's better to deal with known exchange in any case, thos random exchange can reveal many bad surprise

if they don't respond after 26 days or start repeating the same crap you can be assured that your are facing some kind of scam

it's still strange because they site don't look that fishy....what bank they use btw?

They have told me that they use commbank Australia, is already pass 27 days from my request of withdrawal and yet still didn't get any response from their side, not even replying to my support ticket, as this exchange do not have a real address everything is PO BOX, so I wonder where can I report a scam just in case other people are still using the site now and possible that they might fall into the same scam as well.

I was wondering if this is a known issue for this exchange I trade with them very long ago the withdrawal was OK, took around 8 days to get my cash, but it seem this time it have drag too long for an international transfer 27 days and counting, they told me they have a big fraud on their transaction might due to investigation on AML and KYC issue, but the support have totally no response for 2 days, as I know they have no office address no body known where they are located, only address show is PO BOX, so I feel is very risky to trade in this exchange in future, anyone else have face this issue?

Is a known issue they always delay payment and slow on support, they claim that they have stop few million of fraud as I read on coindesk, but 27 days is kind of long for an international withdrawal it sounds fishy, you should make a online scam complaint to www.scamwatch.gov.au if they fail to give you an answer soon.

Thanks for your advise on where to report the online scam in Australia, ya I read through many forum it is a known issue, I wonder if their KYC and AML rules is too strict in Australia, I see they have expend to many countries mainly doing remittance this might the causing many problem on AML, not a good exchange to do trade.

27 days is ridiculous, looks like they are either struggling to make ends meet or they just delay as long as possible without getting into legal trouble

Ya is ridiculous and now is 28 days already since 02 may 2015 and still counting, no reply from their support, no responsibility at all, I think is going to take 1 month or more for or never get back my money may be, I am posting here so that other that read this topic will be aware of such issue in this exchange.

I really disappointed with them, I feel that they are not professional at all on handling support.

There are a lot of threads on iGot delays and sometimes funds disappearing. Just search for them, and you will probably find how it was resolved.

but 26 days is definitely a red flag..

I would stay away from this exchange. Sorry doesn't help you but at least others will be warned.

The iGot scam hit the mainstream media in Australia yesterday with a serious investigative expose on the Australian Broadcasting Corporation's 7:30 current affairs and news program.

Watch the embedded video to see what has been broadcast.

DO NOT ATTEMPT TO USE THIS EXCHANGE AS YOU WILL MOST LIKELY NEVER SEE YOUR FUNDS AGAIN.

If you're already embroiled in the web of broken promises and lies that characterises everything Rick Day does, contact the relevant authorities and lodge formal reports about what money you're owed.
