It doesn't bother me that we don't know his true identity, it's upto him if he wants to remain anonymous.
He deserves anonymity, it's at his discretion.
We don't really need to know who he really is, it wouldn't benefit us at all to know.
Plus I kind of like the mystery around it, it's kinda cool.

Most A-list celebrities or other millionaire entrepreneurs don't have security or get threats or whatever so I don't understand why satoshi would suddenly be a target. He probably just values his anonymity like many of us do on here already. Maybe he wasn't sure of the possible legal ramifications of creating such a currency either.

Yes, I think Satoshi is not a person. Satoshi is a group with have superior brains and i want to meet with them.

Why would it? It doesn't discredit his idea in any way, but maybe this is why it's a good reason he stays anon so bitcoin is kept separate from any drama or criticisms that may arise.

Agreed, but there were many people either who tried to grab the attention by saying they were Satoshi or they were given that name by some other popular names who thought that these might be the ones behind... No one really knows who Satoshi is...

I think he will himself come ahead one day and show his face in public... I think Satoshi's anonymity might be because if he comes out, it might be a threat to his life as many enemies are also waiting for him to get out of this industry...

It is his ideas that matter, the result of his work. It does not matter who he/she or they is or are. It would be nice to know and to know for sure. But just like a lot of things it does not matter who thought of it, it is nice to be appreciated. It is nice to be inspired by Satoshi, or any other person, Tesla, Bell, Edison, Arthur, Jesus. But does it really matter? It is the stories and the results that count today and in the future when the person in question is long gone!
