@ocminer : I'm getting a lot of "API bind to port 4068 failed - trying again in 20sec"... Do you know if there's a quick fix for it?

Thanks a lot!

TWLV or x12

Problem is that there are no rental providers yet unless you make private arraignments

Bitspill is right!

FYI, the x12 Seems a bit harder than the x15 to mine actually (without any ccminer optimisation). With a 6x750ti RIG, I get about 10 MH/s!

Still working on the miners software builds. We hope to be able to release some good updates about #TINSIDE a.k.a #x12 mining softwares as soon as possible, maybe a matter of days/week.

just  to ask you: you tell us how good you are coding alts.
why use the same old code base?
why dont just make upgrade to bitcoins current master source and go with it?
personally i hate and avoid coins using irc.cpp, you know why.
i never use the official wallet, i compile it myself if want to try some coin.

Your point is good actually. We'll think about this for a later upgrade. Smiley

What is an algorithm?

What do you mean exactly? please explain.

Are you asking in a general way what an hashing algorithm is for a cryptocurrency or which is the algorithm of TWELVE?

what an hashing algorithm?

Currently an "hashing algorithm" is defined that part of the code that provide the cryptographic hash functions which permits blocks to be created and elaborated by miners softwares (and for certain algos also hardware). The so called "Algo" is also responsible of the safety of the entire network's transactions and cryptography.

Miners softwares infact, works on such "hashing algorithm" in a different way for each different algo, in example X11, X12, X13 , Sha256, Scrypt etc., and elaborate such hashing function based on the hashing functions present on the source code.
