It depends on how frequently you use your gmail account. I am unable to understand why people keep on using gmail when they know they will have privacy issues.

Just checked your link out. It says I have no location history during last 30 days, yet I've used Gmail on my phone on the go.

doesnt work for me, most people know that they will have privacy issues w/ google accounts but it enables ease of access when signing up for most sites like youtube, so i guess thats why people still use gmail

Exactly the same case with me.
Many people just use Gmail because most of Google's services are connected to one account, making it much easier to use. Most websites track you, but only to a certain extent.
