i hope it goes down. because i have some extra fiat money that i didn't know what to do with.
now i am waiting for an opportunity to convert it to bitcoin if the price was right.

but i am doubtful that this can happen, and i am going to have my orders left unfilled
I don't recommend you to buy Bitcoin right now, just wait until this Gavin scandal pass.

You can invest a part on Alts: Litecoin for example.

LOL, you advise some one to invest in shitcoins instead of Bitcoin? Go play in the altcoin section if you think that's the place to be.

litecoin is losing value to BTC and has pathetic trade volume.

If people panic because of BTC, will be worse for Litecoin and other alts.

They might be a good deal before a BTC pump, but still risky

Spot on. My chart predicted a drop as well. We might even see 220 before we go back up.

seriously Litecoin!?, the coin was abandoned a long time ago and when you look at the chart it only goes downward. Altcoins can be more dangerous than investing in BTC

What price are you talking about? $200?  $170  $150
Maybe even lower?

Seems sunny weather is also holding bitcoin buyers outside enjoying the sun and not buying bitcoins that are daily mined.

nah, this is the usual drop in the same boring range between 230 and 240, expect a raise when the whole Gavin drama will end
i agree, as i said i am doubtful that drop happens. this is the same thing and the price is going to stay around $230 for some time now, unless any big news comes out from somewhere.
i think this an accumulation phase that is going to last long.

but to answer Febo's question i places some bids at a range of prices not just one fixed low price. this way i can buy if price falls down no matter how much.

It looks very stable and fine to me , It was basically like 230$ - 240$ the whole week . so I don't see why it would simply drop just like that . and right now it's 237$ (using preev.com rates) .  Huh  Huh

Whats the gavin scandal?

he want to fork the client anyway(for the transaction limit problem) and making a new chain(if the old one is kept), without the general consensus of the other four developers, which apparently have no real reasons to not agree with him

i don't know about Litecoin being the best but it has the second highest trade volume according to http://coinmarketcap.com
and also it attracted a lot of people but i think it is a dying coin and certainly not a good investment for long term.

you should stick to bitcoin for your majority of investment and if you want to buy altcoins too, try investing in a couple of them. but so far i found out that none of them are good for long term investment.

ahh, there are imho other aspects then pure market cap. such activity of community, social reach, activity of development or communications from developers to public..etc etc.

and because of this, I really don't think that litecoin is on "second" place anymore..

I never try to make bitcoin look bad. It's the community and economy that's messed up.

Yes, there are several big issues with bitcoin that need to be addressed and that also cause major distress, just look at current drama over the blocksize, this is one of the bigger reasons this week is going  bring us to new lows and a loooot of panic selling.
The fork won't destroy bitcoin but it will bring it down on its knees and we can just hope it will be able to crawl back up again.

you're not trying to make bitcoin look bad? look into your own post history. you have been nothing but an extreme bearish person.
