Well how times is passing I see myself doing the same thing as u people. First thing when I get up is to come here to see what is happening, check prices, and make couple throws on some dice site. I also check prices of some other coins as well, i became so interested in this thing that people around me say to me I`m crazy.

My understanding is that it is bad for your mental health to check the value of your investments too often.

This is because the happiness experienced by an increase in price is less than the unhappiness experienced by an equal decrease in price. The net effect over time is to make us more depressed then if we never checked (assuming an approximately stable price of course).

I try and limit myself to NEVER checking during the week. It is a little treat to myself at weekends that I can check it. Unfortunately it is often not possible to stick to this as I visit bitcoin sites daily to check the news and the gossip etc, and many of these sites mention the price, a lot even have the price prominently displayed on the header. I would far prefer it if non-exchange or price specific sites gave users an option to hide the price if it is prominently displayed.

Unless you are using a bot to trade for you there is no way for a trader to not check the price, I check it hourly almost, the price can spike in a matter of minutes and if you don't have orders active you have to check the price.

I also look at the price ticker plenty of times per day. I think it's normal since the price has been rising quite a bit lately. We all want to see our investments grow in value. That's why we keep looking at the price.

I check the price/value of bitcoin on a daily basis. More during the week and less on weekends. During work days I check it almost every 2 to 3 hours.
And on weekends maybe once or twice a day.

Now checking the Bitcoin rate every morning has become my first priority because when you see the Bitcoin rate shoots up it makes your day and makes you feel richer but when it drops down it gives you a feeling that again it will increase in few days.

I do the same, and I also hit one particular faucet as well.  It's an ingrained habit at this point; I was doing the same with precious metals for a while and I still do this with stocks if I wake up after 9:30am.  Lol, market junkie.

Yeah people who are holding and using bitcoins will always keep on checking the rates of bitcoins, and now it has become a daily schedule of majority of us as we are curious to know whether its going up or down.

I check the price daily by simple open the XAPO app. Good enough for me don't need all facts the whole day around me.
