Obviously Bitcoin is attractive to commercial and private citizens of countries where money is losing value following currency debasement. But why would a resident of company domiciled in a country where the local currency is appreciating want to use it ?  I'm thinking of Brazil, Indonesia and other countries not pegged to the US dollar.

Also the economy in Australia, where I live, is suffer from Dutch Disease as the $AUD is driven up by demand for mineral resources. Is there a way Bitcoin could be used to alleviate Dutch Disease ?
