If you make an analysis of how much trouble Bitcoin has passed through and how much it has evolved in that time. I don't think Litecoin won't be able to survive the first hit. And if it did, I will come back to this thread to apologize. Bitcoin is way too much evolved right now in terms of market spread to be able to overtaken by any crypto.

Bitcoin is a troubled and risky coin now. Gavin does not give up with his hardfork efforts despite veto from all sides.
Better dump for LTC as long as you can still get decent prices.

in the past year that i have been trading altcoins, i have seen same pumps and the same topics about litecoins is the thing, but the hype always end after the dump begins.

in the past year that i have been trading altcoins, i have seen same pumps and the same topics about litecoins is the thing, but the hype always end after the dump begins.
depends on what you expect....myself if it stays above 0.006 LTC to BTC I'm just dandy with LTC..again imho people will look for an alternative and imho if LTC goes then all Alts are pretty much toast again...imho the bet is right now with a lot of folk holding LTC is that it should be closer to 0.010 LTC to BTC rather then the previous low 0.00595 if I remember correctly so the probability in my view their will ALWAYS be an alternative to bitcoin ..and my current thought are it is LTC.....same blockchain tech but scrypt..no drama..the developer is known 3x the transaction speed ..again this is my view...esp with any blockchain apps and sidechains ..they will migrate to LTC as well .......and I DO expect further development of the coin too....but not till after the halving now I'm not a fanatic about it...but again anything over 0.006 LTC to BTC works for me for the foreseeable future even if there is a pump and dump after the halving but then again maybe that is just me .....but why I'm holding at the present time |

if there will be sometimes some successful altcoin, it will be dash or dogecoin. sorry to say, but litecoin is just crap:(
i can't see how dash is better , when it is still a clone of another coin, like litecoin is too, they are all trash to me a good coin, should be one that incorporate every good aspect about some altcoin, like ring/signature/mini-blockchain/energy efficient/and energy useful(curecoin) |

If bitcoin dies, Litecoin will die before.
They don't even have devs interested enough to don't give up in something that might be good for LTC
this is opinion It's actually fact. Litecoin has been abandoned for a while. It only got a lot of traction at the beginning because it coined itself as the original alt (when it's actually a fork of Tenebrix) and because Gobble was involved. |

As a low % chance outcome it cant hurt to have a little incase right? No other coin is ahead of LTC if something crazy happened to bitcoin the other ones look pretty much dead on coinmarketcap. |

this is opinion It's actually fact. Litecoin has been abandoned for a while. No other coin is ahead of LTC if something crazy happened to bitcoin the other ones look pretty much dead on coinmarketcap. litecoin has a very good market "right now" and that is it. this is only a phase like it was many times before that. and it is a pretty good idea to get involved with litecoin because of that % chance. but only if you are into altcoin trading and you have to leave the market before you become a bagholder. |
