Dont know whats happening with Max Keiser promise (million new users this year), but Coinbase might actually do it for him. Some guy on reddit showing off his wallet after sharing his refferal link on twitter and fb:

there's an unlimited number of takers if you are giving something away.  at more than $1 per lead, especially for leads that aren't necessarily quality leads, coinbase is overpaying.

They seem to have suspended the ref campaign. I only got a bonus for 10 people, the other 15 that registered from my link didn't got anything, not nice at all.

coinbase is NOT doing a good job. I try to withdraw some coins since the 18th and all i get is a pending transaction and 24 hours later an email that my coins are refunded because my transaction is still pending.
It is ridiculous.

I am trying to withdraw some BTC from there as well... and still waiting. 

There is no sign of any transaction for the address I am trying to send to at blockchain.info so they are just refusing to send it for some reason.   Angry
