Question: Before PoA, do we need merged mining?
Merged mining is a good idea
We do not need merged mining
We need only PoA
We need both merged mining and PoA

Create a .bat file with:

monerod.exe --add-peer 176.9.2.145:8480 --add-peer 73.187.10.116:42080

Just keep adding the nodes shown bellow

Try these -

176.9.2.145:8480
73.187.10.116:42080
176.9.147.178:8480
148.251.51.113:8480
122.173.153.251:42080

Yeah - I was expecting a pretty large bear phase after the recent bull but most alts still seem to be rising hard - I didn't expect that at all =D

Is there any roadmap? This coin seems interesting but lack of advertisement and developers "presence".

dNote was reliable for so long...I'm so surprised he disappeared like this...I hope nothing bad happened to him/her.

You can send him an encrypted message on XDN (dddneZ6zEVGG83zNytTRC35c6GpnTMcodWhXRroHScS8chjFBR3y9zdRRGPb79Aq1dJqQ3voZkV2YTX 3o2ecGE3P1LXJUPS9C) or send him an email at xdnproject@tutanota.com.

I've done both a few days ago, no response, but it is an avenue to try since dNote has not even signed in here in months.  The least the dev could do is respond.  This coin really had a chance...my duckies...quack

For anyone having trouble syncing the digitalnote wallet, I was having the same issue. I found tweaking an earlier post fixed it. Copy the following into notepad and save it as whatever.bat Make sure you select file type when saving as just file so you can name it with the .bat extension. Then place that file in the same folder as your digitalnotewallet.exe. Then just double click whatever.bat. At least this is what fixed it for me. Hope it helps you as well.

digitalnotewallet.exe --add-peer 176.9.2.145:8480 --add-peer 73.187.10.116:42080 --add-peer 176.9.147.178:8480 --add-peer 148.251.51.113:8480 --add-peer 122.173.153.251:42080

I think that either the dev has unexpectedly passed away or that he has disappeared for some other reasons unknown.  Did he simply give up on the coin and the ICCO announcement was his last ditch effort to pump and dump?  It doesn't seem like it because he did a terrible job pumping...it never happened.  It also doesn't seem right for such an advanced coin at this age.  Why put in all the work?  However, thinking back in time there was one fairly large rally that occurred in 2015.  Maybe it was a pump and dump?  The "XDN Foundation" appeared in May of 2015, held an auction and then XDN price went up a month or two later to ATH's and the XDN Foundation magically disappeared (and most likely sold all their coins at the top).  Here's the thread for that: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1072773.0

dNote had always said that the foundation seemed like it was for a good cause but he did clarify that the foundation was not official and he was not connected.  Was he actually connected and that was just phase 1 of scam?  Tinfoil hat is on...but the truth is we have no idea and it is all speculation.  I mean shit...I dont know.  Why would he build such awesome technology just to scam poorly?  Maybe something unfortunate happened?

Either way the source code is available for us all and for someone to take the reigns if they have the intelligence and vigor...it wouldn't be the first time that a dev for a popular cryptocurrency disappeared before the coin "took off", after all.

Thank you.

There's no conf file, but the seed nodes are dead, so you need to launch the wallet (or just the daemon) like described here:
