Question: Before PoA, do we need merged mining?
Merged mining is a good idea
We do not need merged mining
We need only PoA
We need both merged mining and PoA

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.
Advertised sites are not endorsed by the Bitcoin Forum. They may be unsafe, untrustworthy, or illegal in your jurisdiction.

Can you describe - are you trying to send an average transaction or you have an issue with deposits?
I am trying to do a more than 1000 XDN transaction from my XDN GUI wallet (version 1.0.5, the last one, Ubuntu O.S.) to an exchange.
In the XDN GUI wallet, when I click on the "Send" buttom, the wallet works some seconds and an error window appears with the message "Transaction size is too big".

If I do a 1000 XDN or less transaction, there is no problem and the transaction is OK : the funds appears in the exchange after a few minutes.

This one looks pretty good https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=525756.0

The reverse has a 12.7mm incused square for you to carefully place a private key QR code that can then be concealed with our custom tamper proof hologram.  Silver Wallets give you the freedom to store as little or as many BTC as you want.

Hey!

Is there a version of Ubuntu or linux that the gui wallet is known to compile well on?

Seems to get pretty cranky on Ubuntu 14.04, and I did upgrade boost to 1.55.

wallet closes unexpectedly.  Error over minimum / maximum interest variable.

Time to upgrade to 14.10?  Obviously 14.04 won't work natively, as boost 1.54 is the default.

Does it compile fine?

I can compile it, but the wallet crashes with this:

/cryptonote/src/cryptonote_core/Currency.cpp:91: uint64_t cryptonote::Currency::calculateInterest(uint64_t, uint32_t) const: Assertion `m_depositMinTerm <= term && term <= m_depositMaxTerm' failed.

Before the end of this year we are planing to introduce DigitalNote Proof-of-activity.
That is PoW + PoS.
PoS part will be based on XDN blockchain banking deposits.
PoS part will have an additional reward = 150 XDN.

For everyone to understand:

1. XDN will be much more secure than any other CryptoNote cryptocurrency. DigitalNote will be resistant against a numerous types of attacks.
2. Stakeholders with deposited XDN will receive an additional interest for staying online and securing network.
3. We are working on industrial kind of DigitalNote core improvements, that will be introduced very soon with the new RPC-API and further going improvements.
4. New core improvements will be able to handle an extreme number of transactions and connections and Proof-of-activity security will elevate DigitalNote to industrial enterprise level.
5. We are always working on core and new features and improvements, you will know about it soon.

what about progress sir ?

What is the fastest way load wallets into new computers to avoid long sync times? Is there a place to download a recent blockchain before importing .keys and .wallets?
Thank you!

I just imported my private key on a new wallet on OSX and synched … Shocked ;
the entire xdn block chain updated in 3 minutes from 0 blocks to 182k++ .

I think that is really fast and awesome enough , don't you think alike ?

Try adding -p before the payment id. The syntax has changed since the original CN one.
