Question: Before PoA, do we need merged mining?
Merged mining is a good idea
We do not need merged mining
We need only PoA
We need both merged mining and PoA

You decided to sell at loss. You decided against holding. You want quick bucks, it seems.
Some really short term pumps on crappy or dead coin projects offer that,
at big risk, of course.
yes i could have gotten out cheaper but i panicked, i am not a good trader, not really blaming anyone. I will probably rebuy some XDN at lower price but at most 5...10 million the next time, considering this project has 1% chance of succeeding it might be worth it.

I did sell becuase i lost faith in this project, maybe it was panic and a mistake but i doubt xdn will be able to overcome the network effect(SDC, XMR).

I actually hate trading and i am never happy.

I have some spare computer systems mining XDN. It is not likely I will buy XDN. Prefer to mine it. Maybe one year later I peek at my XDN wallet again I hope I will get a good surprise. Smiley

I think your new figure is a good amount of XDN to hold longterm — without selling nor trading most of it it 'ever'.
That you could call an investment.

I don't think XDN must compare itself to XMR or SDC, the first is quite positioning itself in a shady ghetto,
the latter has its own set of hurdles, using LevelDB with all is flaws, and SDC is quite concentrated & priced out …
both are coins with a small amount of total coins. However, we'll see.

XDN, as a currency for a wider adoption, has a really good total amount,
and it is pretty cheap, at floor price ranges … if it goes to one cent per XDN : Cool

I am quite sure we'll come up with some interesting & useful economies for it — eventually.

I do wish you good luck anyway, buy any dip and don't go full in, 1/3 , later ... 1/3 ,
and keep the last 1/3 BTC you'd possibly spend for a last top up finalising your position

Patience is key, there are eventually a few repeating opportunities

I was checking the correlation of the two currencies and XDN seems to be faring much better right now. I would have expected XDN to be down to around 18-19 sat right now - but still sitting at 24. Looks like its proving to be pretty resilient.

XDN is still building its base for a promising future. Nevertheless the coin is proving us to be pretty stable despite the bad moments.

The phase has showed that Monero is in a shaking ground. Hopefully after this, people should wake up and figure what was all that pump Monero had in recent past, and look to another more reliable cryptocurrency such as XDN.

XDN has an intersting technology its devs are implementing to it, plus its price is so low which is an invitation to invest to it.

I don't understand why people don't take advantage of XDN now before it gets too late. Huh

Yes that was surprising but the price is kept up by a buywall at 23, it will continue down below 20 eventually, just wait. Each new xdn peak is lower than the last, xdn falls slowsly and hence it is possible to predict the price.

Hi. It is not still not possible to send an encrypted message to myself. I have set high fees and the anonymity level set to the minimum.

It works for me sending messages only to my wallet as well as sending an 'x' amount of XDN plus message to my wallet. Maybe you are not noticing because it is instant. Follow the messages(transactions) from the both the overview and from the transaction panes of the wallet. You will see two('in' and 'out') arrows as well as an unconfirmed amount of XDN because of the 'mixin' on overview and see transaction confirmations on the blockchain in transactions. I am using X64 Windows.

Here it is my new problem.

I tried to move a relatively huge amount of money from an exchange wallet into my XDN wallet.

On the exchange wallet, the withdrawal was completed and the address where to move the coins to was/is correct.

However, on my XDN wallet there is no what so ever trace of those coins.

Any solutions?

the exchange should have given you a transaction ID for the withdraw.
you can look up in a block explorer. http://chainradar.com/xdn/blocks

It's absent there. And I wonder why?

That's perfectly fine. On this occasion I used another platform.

I sent them an email.

Hello!

I still have not found a way to make deposits from the command line (or through the payment gate RPC). Do you plan to add this functionality and if so, when? Or did the development of this coin been frozen?

Development is not frozen, soon we will introduce a major update with some "surprise". Deposits can be made via GUI.

Seems kind of odd to have a feature that is only accessible through the GUI, no?

As for me it's tedious to build the GUI for every coin.

Here user dNote promised the RPC API half-year ago. Was it you?

Do you know what is RPC API? This is not console ability, but RPC Smiley
And we have RPC API for messages and also console support for messages:
https://github.com/xdn-project/digitalnote/commit/bdea9dd303637f3e85d7f6e44f0ea93ef95b7871
https://github.com/xdn-project/digitalnote/commit/01adc3c61a18e43a9c53ea6d35d302adf47d9630

Regarding deposits API - it is not completely done yet, because we are looking for a simple RPC interface for deposits. This is a pretty hard work to make deposit interface simple enough in CLI and RPC. And RPC and CLI interfaces for deposits will be truly needed with PoA. Now GUI is good for that. You can install GUI just once, make deposit and forget about it at least before unlock, meanwhile you can use simplewallet.

It was me promising RPC-API and i keep my promise, we have RPC-API for messages. RPC-API will be extended for deposits later, this is not high priority task before PoA, for sure. I am sorry if i was misunderstood.

Thank you.
