@motienvolam aren't you worried about Bitshares competitors (as EOS and its dex), another Dex'es (like Binance DEX - I know it is not fully decentralized, but.. have much bigger marketing  and better known brand) ?
PS. I wouldn't ignore chinese evaluation, but the things became more complicated cause of political tension between USA and China...
Nope, I don't worry about competitors, current and potential ones. Bitshares has its own advantages, and it has been a backbone of Bitshares-based decentralized exchanges. I knew that there are other recently platforms, on which decentralized exchanges can operate, but I have a strong belief on Bitshares platform. However, there is at least one disadvantage, that is lack of updated information, and lack of communication between Bitshares team and their community in the ANN topic.

Yes, this lack of communication between Bitshares team and our bitcointalk community is one of the things, that worries me, too.

By the way, Bitshares price today performs pretty well. Bitshares is one of very few coins which  recorded price increase. However, on short-term basis I am afraid that  it is just anomaly and bitshares will continue to decline like other altcoins Sad

Bitshares was Dan Larimer's project like Steem and EOS later, right?
And today I read something in Steem thread what give me some clue:

(...)
Plus, Dan Larimer has a reputation of being able to hype up his projects very extensively, but usually only to leave them afterwards.

Now, the situation with EOS might be different, but I wouldn't bet any money on it to succeed just yet.

So I am afraid we all  are just overhyped - and Bitshares is lost project which won't back towards its highs unfortunately Sad

Bitshares is a very strong altcoins, and one of oldest crypto currencies. Moreover, Bitshares has its strong usecase. To sum up, I agreed that people have still undervalued Bitshares.

bitshares destroyed by wars between their developers :/ dam it should be one of the absolute top coin. They have defi many times before Ethereum but devs have preferred to argue with each other. What a wasted opportunity :/

This is one of the top coin back in the days, one of the platforms that is probably the source of ideas for newer platforms today like the WAVES and even EOS. Basically, it's almost the same concept but being rolled and outcome as new. If you were one of the old users, you probably have invested heavily in this project as well as holding more than a million of it.

Dan has the habit of leaving the project to the community though to make it more decentralized. I think BTS still is a good investment, its still one of the oldest DEX.

Bitshare is still trading and it appears on top exchanges like Binance, Huobi, Gate etc at over $2 million today. They had challenges with the website which was just restored and got very low information about the project. Bitshare only appear on coinmarketcap, not on coingecko.  follow the twitter page https://twitter.com/BitSharesOrg website; https://bitshares.org/

Anybody know of any low-quantity BitShares assets that were created as collectibles or for artistic purposes? I might be interested in buying them from you if you have some. PM me.
