I offer free escrow with small transaction fee

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.
Advertised sites are not endorsed by the Bitcoin Forum. They may be unsafe, untrustworthy, or illegal in your jurisdiction.

My Escrow service is now called Devscrow. Devscrow covers transaction fees and is completely free. We use a combination of multisig wallets and biometric security.
Official Devscrow Thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=708658.msg8006710
Devscrow in the Press: http://bitcoinist.net/crypto-community-service-dev-escrow/

squall1066, when you get a chance could you update the info in the OP? Thanks!

I don't think many at all. John went mia for a bit but paid people back. We're pretty old members that were around when Bitcoin was worthless and had no incentive to steal. We were here for more altruistic reasons.

But didnt you say before somewhere  that you lost all your coins somehow, so there may always be an incentive for some escrowers (though not saying that you would run off with people's money, but safety is never guranteed).

Yeah my coins. I wouldn't steal though, I've had plenty of chances over the years. I got enough problems and people wishing me dead is the last thing I need.

I'm here to change the world not make money.

I'll change the world, but 1~2% sounds reasonable for the effort, and make money too.

If you wish to be an escrow, State your Reputability, and any fees you require.

Here's my topic, fees à 1%

I think it might be useful to trim that list. Im pretty sure there are many users in the list that arent active anymore. For example i checked the first 10 linked profiles. 4 of them werent in the forum since months, 2 of them werent for around a week and so on.

I think the list in the current form isnt as helpful as it once was.

@squall1066 if you dont have time to check those profiles i could help you providing a least with the last logindates of the listed escrows. Let me know if i can help.

Please ALWAYS contact me through bitcointalk pm before sending someone coins.

Just to let everyone know, I am starting to do only large escrows as the small ones aren't worth my time anymore.

This would be anything above 5+ BTC

And also as a reminder to everyone, I still offer escrow services for transactions of any size.  My escrows are offered entirely free of charge, although gratuities are graciously accepted if you feel that I have provided you a valuable service.

I've got somebody wanting to do a 3 BTC bet on if his coin will be worth more than it is now.

Term would be three months (with possible early bet call).  Any takers (who have been here a long time - 3 months is eternity in cryptoverse)?

Sure.  Send me the details of the transaction, and I'll send you both an escrow agreement.

Static ip of the forum, probably just incase the domain isn't working. There has been a few times the domain has been domain for the forum but not the server.
