it is a nice topic to all Indians  who are using and trading in crypto  in india to know about all the advantage and disadvantage  and security about transactions made before think twice and secure their money.
Make sure you back up your wallet regularly! Unlike a bank account, nobody can help you if you lose access to your BTC.

i am on this forum for years now. no issues.

This forum isn't illegal or scamming people... you have to do your own research in this open world before getting involved into anything.

Many indians are already here in the forum; i am one of them Smiley

Hi,

I welcome all Indians to this sub forum.
I hope this sub forum will helps us to continue our uniqueness of "Unity in Diversity"

Any new comers, newbies, better read & know some stuff about Bitcoin & also try to know who are not scammers & who are scammers before buying or selling BItcoins.

Bitcoins once sent can't be taken back. So check more than double times before any transaction.

Okay! So what's new to learn or anything trending in india that everyone should know
 Thanks in advance.

Today I attended a session on the Legal Aspects of Blockchain & Cryptocurrency at WeWork Galaxy in Bangalore. The session was interesting. Most of the discussion was on the regulatory aspects of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology in general. One of the panelists was Jincy Samuel from Coinsecure. It was sad to hear her speak about the pathetic support from banks for exchanges. It's more like how the banks are scared about cryptocurrencies gaining a stronghold.

nice. good to hear about event in India.

on the point of bank, they will do it because with the rise of cryptocurrency there will be no need of 3rd party like bank to hold/store/transact funds.. everything will be p2p.

Regulation will be implemented by the governments for sure but here's what i think... eventually the personnel in the government bodies will change and the new ones will already be on the side of cryptocurrencies thus implementing better regulations.
