So - is Crunck still alive and well?

I wonder how those PoS coins he has for the investment portfolio is coming along Grin Roll Eyes
Paycon, DigiCube, Tekcoin and Ratecoin are sitting idle since February. Hyperstake, Sprouts and Orb were moved, some clearly organized between different addresses for managed staking for some time, so I don't know what's up with them.

So - is Crunck still alive and well?
I dont know if he is , I have bits of concern but he do this before and come back to pretend he gets hacking from server or some other people
I think before you are him , but I am not so sure now /
Definitely, I'm not Crunck. I can prove who I am Facebook, LinkedIn,
Email, etc. but not sure how I can prove I am not someone. LOL

Yes, it is basically a hybrid coin but the PoS part was disabled in the code. Crunck did try to enable it but hit problems and wasn't able to do so and went missing shortly after.

This was a potentially great coin. Concept was a portfolio of POS coins would
grow and, part of the POS would be sold to give buy support while the rest
would grow the wallets. Unfortunately, the POW sold faster than the POS
income could keep the price up. Lowering the POW rewards could have saved the coin.

Biggest problem, Crunck has disappeared

Maybe he will show back up at some point but... hopefully he is oK

rpcuser=randombullshit
rpcpassword=randombullshit
rpcport=13454
rpcconnect=127.0.0.1

Huh

I look in both file github and and download from NZ

init.cpp (289)

-rpcport=<port>        " + _("Listen for JSON-RPC connections on <port> (default: 31451 or testnet: 35715)") + "\n"

this is shacoin so maybe rpcport is somewhere else?Huh

13454

part 2

say pow coin but code say no

main.cpp (986)

/int64_t GetProofOfWorkReward(int64_t nFees, int nHeight)
{
    int64_t nSubsidy = 20 * COIN;

    if(nHeight == 1)
    {
        nSubsidy = 50000 * COIN;
    }
        else if(nHeight <= 100000)
    {
        nSubsidy = 100 * COIN;
    }
        else if(nHeight <= 248000)
    {
        nSubsidy = 20 * COIN;
    }
        else
    {
        nSubsidy = 20 * COIN;

        int halvings = nHeight / g_RewardHalvingPeriod;
        nSubsidy = (halvings >= 64)? 0 : (nSubsidy >> halvings);
        nSubsidy -= nSubsidy*(nHeight % g_RewardHalvingPeriod)/(2*g_RewardHalvingPeriod);
    }

    return nSubsidy + nFees;
}

// miner's coin stake reward based on coin age spent (coin-days)
int64_t GetProofOfStakeReward(int64_t nCoinAge, int64_t nFees, int nHeight)
{

    // proof of stake rewards. POS begins at block 2700

    int64_t nSubsidy = nCoinAge * COIN_YEAR_REWARD * 33 / (365 * 33 + Cool;

    return nSubsidy + nFees;
}

2 x return nSubsidy + nFees;

part  3

you have 200% change every hour 8 minute block???

main.cpp (1036)

 // Maximum 200% adjustment per hour
        bnResult *= 2;
        nTime -= 1 * 60 * 60;
    }

i am not exert so maybe I can miss things but you can not make your coin from sources given so no record can be check to show true

I may download wallet but this proof of anything with wallet???

The wallet versions shouldn't be a problem here because the updates, as far as I remember, contained only cosmetic changes.

Same block here after firing up and syncing the wallet. The mineforthewinpool shows last block being 61745 though, but it seems the bigger of the 2 usual miners there has left and the other one is struggling with the difficulty. Have to go now to work so I can't dig more into it. Would be nice if the pool templates would include a peer list of the pool.

OK, most stuff is sitting on block 61741, can't tell with Yobit because of maintenance mode but that might be just a result of that outdated last block as well. The pool that was active last shows some different stuff but what it shows isn't that coherent in any case, it might have broken down or at least is on a fork. In any case what would be needed is at least one somewhat decent miner thrown onto the chain, solo perhaps.

On a different note, I know the name of that guy over there http://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1528747 from somewhere but I can't remember where to put it.  Shocked  Wink

I can throw a miner later tonight - I did it last time for a few months
but, without a market and the buying from the portfolio it is almost a waste
of electricity. But, I will take one for the team.

In the past I have used 1 Asic S3 have 12 THs) which moves the chain pretty fast.
 I have a problem in that I get 1/2 price electricity (5 cents/kwh) here in Las Vegas all
year but, they charge me 50 cents/kwh) from 2 to 7 pm during July, Aug & Sept (prime
heat hours). So my miners go off at those times.
