Note: I'm assuming that you have no issues with pinging the unit here.

Hey there, sadly I don't own any sp31's but I did a quick google search which led me to the users guide in .pdf format here:
https://cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0389/3233/files/SP31_User_Guide.pdf

Presuming you can access the WebUI at all...from what I'm seeing on page 11 your going to want to:
1.) Click [Settings] in the menu.
2.) Make sure the Keep cgminer.conf file is unchecked if you don't want to preserve the existing pool settings.
3.) Click [Reset to Factory Settings]

If you don't have access to your Web interface, I did also find this link from the spoondoolies blog:
http://www.spondoolies-tech.com/blogs/technical-blog/13098521-sp10-sp30-recovery-sd-card-boot-sd-card-creation-instructions

*Which appear to be instructions for completely resetting your machine if your SD card image ends up getting corrupted for some reason.  I wasn't able to find anything in my cursory scans with regards to any sort of reset button similar to what the antminer's from bitmain have.

I hope one of these two ends up working for you.

Looks like a double post Smiley.   I put my 2 cents in on how to find the IP - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1090973.msg11639847#msg11639847

I would try to find IP and set it up.   The SD card reset is a possible solution mentioned above will reset the unit.  But reading your post I think you should be able to do it just by finding IP.  I would look into this a bit before jumping to resting.

What happens when you bring the IP address up?   Is it on DHCP?  If so it could change.

It would be odd for the GUI to be not working and it still mining on SP gear I would think.
