I am sitting in an airport in Denmark, and waiting for my flight to Stanstead. Looking forward to meet a lot of enthusiastic bitcoiners tonight, and have a blast. I'll try to update this thread with my impressions over the weekend.
Anybody else traveling today?

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

I have my bags all packed - I am only coming in from Milton Keynes (50 km) so it is a 'commute' rather than 'travelling'.

Will see you tonight !

Got to London a bit early so thought I would check out the venue.

All the chairs are put out and they are setting up the screens and stuff.

I am sat in a cafe adjacent and a van has just pulled up delivering sofas to the venue. Not sure what for!

:-)

Edit: Wifi at venue works fine. Can connect to Bitcoin network no problem.

Arrived at the hotel (Imperial President) and found a classy bar with lager and Cod'n'Chips. Next, back to hotel and work on slides, then to the venue at 5 to meet some bitcoiners. Jim, I'll see if I can find the bar you are at.

Hope I convinced you to sell it as a hard copy. I'll buy one.  Smiley
