The man who was jailed for 22 years – on the fantasy evidence of a single hair

http://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2015/jun/23/fbi-evidence-single-hair-kirk-odom

<< Kirk Odom spent 31 years in prison and on parole after pseudoscientific analysis that has finally been discredited. Now the FBI admits it was wrong – in Odom's case, and many thousands like it. >>

Thirty years in jail for a single hair: the FBI's mass disaster of false conviction

Note to self: Don't cry about hair loss. Probably a better wa to protect yourself and your privacy. Fucking messed up situation, man. 31 years is a long time and I feel sorry for him, but atleast corrections are in order. Thank god for that.

Good grief, can't even comprehend how sucky it would be to be locked up for that long knowing how innocent I was. Large amounts of money are gonna be paid out and the taxpayers will be footing the bill as usual.

Cheesy  I don't think the lack of hair is hardly worth it.  As for the "corrections" it is better than nothing but I wouldn't trade 22 years of my life for 22 million dollars.

I wonder what will happen to those that made the decision to throw him to jail? What about this Wayne Oakes guy who claimed himself  as an "expert in hair and textile fibers"? What about the jury? And also why did it take so long to make this case appear again? 22 years is a huge amount of time...

This is happening in every corner around the world, cases such as really pathetic, think about the life of that person who spend into the prison without being properly judged, he lost his valuable 31 years career and his dreamed bright future, no words while we really emphasize his situation.

Holy crap. This would absolutely suck.
Being locked up for something you didn't do.
For 30 years......
Each and every day, pleading to the guard you didn't do it. Losing hope everyday.
Staring at a blank wall.

I don't think anything including money will ever ill those 30 years.
