Ocminer, thanks for adding your optimized miner! Any chance of posting binaries for it for losers like me who can't easily compile?

I've been solo mining this one since launch so I'm sure hashrate will jump now that you've let people know it exists.

Never mind.

and i'm mining on betarigs (i couldn't mine on suprnova, i don't know why..) my hashrate is 15,083.93 KH/s.
Is it good bad or wtf? Cheesy

This is NOT my coin, I've found it on CryptoCoinTalk: https://cryptocointalk.com/topic/38976-the-john-dillinger-died-for-you-society-presents-flaxscript/

As I did not see it here, and because it is custom algo, it has exchange, block explorer and github source and is NOT coingen plus I had some time I gave it a shot, modified a CPU and CC Miner for it, put up a second pool for it (thanks ahmed for the first one !) and crossposted the ANN here. No idea about the coins future at all - don't blame me if you mine hot air !

Original ANN folowing with added Pool and Miners:

Flaxscript [FLAX]

The eschaton of the Illuminatus! pseudobanking™ coin series; for use by the illuminated only.

CPU Only algorithm, nothing as out of the ordinary as Skidoo--recognized and valid for all transactions and all factions including the LDD, JAMs, ELF, and ETC.

5 million total tons of flax and yes, The JDDFYS took a 1% chunk up front--a vault to secure the bank held here: JUG1FYcNgJ2HQNdaRLsx4LZdpSLXSNp2yG

There is also an offering to Malaclypse of about .0046% included in the first transaction--he's a fool but he is bankrolling this adventure.

Value? Flax, obviously has value--but not seriously, or perhaps. Just enjoy the spoils of illumination.

Want to know more? Lie down on the floor and keep calm.

Algorithm: Flax 0.9x generation, CPU Only, modified chained eleven algorithm. In-client mining.

Coolio ocminer. Seems to have relation to the CN algo. Nice find.

the algo is based on x11, has just some functions swapped.

It's the Chaincoin algo, whitespace-for-whitespace at first glance:

https://github.com/thegreatoldone/flaxscript/blob/master/src/hashblock.h#L75

https://github.com/chaincoin/chaincoin/blob/master/src/hashblock.h#L75

Might help with the mining.

Cheers

I dont know if its a virus in it. Looks like old code that triggers alot.

I checked an old chaincoin miner and it triggered 39 of 54     https://mega.co.nz/#!7AZiEB6K!ceOETQlhlBG8A8o6F_bKrCxRr7wMgWdojNhj6H5z7sw

I did a test because it looks like a quake clone. I rented 8mHz and pointed it at ocminers pool but nothing happend. Then I pointed the hash to the official pool and it took a long tim nearly 3 hours to get 2 coins. First I got only valid shares but later I had a lot of invalid shares.

I mined on betarigs and the block confirmations are very slow and i had around 50,000 kh/s. i think that's an error it should be 50 kh/s as i have an amd athlon 250 x2 proccessor.

no its not quark, its a different algo, its chaincoin algo or use the miners in the OP

It was just a quick and dirty test to see how much similarities this modified code had. I dont have any gpu that I want to mine with.

Its probably just false positivs because old code and a inwallet miner. That triggers antivirus botnet tests. Best is allways to compile your own wallet.

NEW! - 0.10.x Flaxcore: This change brings along masternodes (Flaxbranches) and anonymous coin mixing (Flaxwire, by Bonelli's). Both are modeled after the highly successful Dash™ coin and are live on 1.1's test net now if you'd like to try them out.

https://github.com/thegreatoldone/flaxscript has the latest code; updated Binary wallets will follow in a day or two, still working out some graphical bits in the QT files.

This change will be mandatory as of August 15th, at which time, you may create your own masternodes by putting 23,000 FLAX in to Proof of Service mode.
