Decentralized exchanges. Coinffeine.com is promising.  End the Gox era.

Have you heard of Bitsquare?

The project of a final decision about the blocksize increase that will make everyone happy. Without even deciding the rules about blocks and if a hard fork will happen or not, all projects will be on hold.

The Gemni might cause some pump when they are launched, but I doubt of its long term effects

I am excited for a few Bitcoin projects. I am not sure about alt-coin projects, but I think the Bitcoin ETF will be exciting. I also heard of some exciting Bitcoin startups, but I cannot seem to remember the name of them...

Do they support API?  I think coinffeine does.  No more interruptions.

3. Bitcoin: The End of Money As We Know It documentary. According to the producer Torsten Hoffman, the documentary should get approx 100M views worldwide. It will help a lot the education of mainstream users and hopefully change the bad narrative people have over bitcoin.

I think this is out July 14th. Not long now.

I'm biased of course, but I'm most excited to finally start promoting eMunie properly in the coming months and really get into the guts of explaining what it can do and how.

Basically eMunie is all of the above mentioned in this thread but on steroids, including all new ledger and consensus tech, which outperforms anything being developed at the moment with regard to speed, efficiency & security, and the jewel in the crown, a self regulated elastic economy to promote price stability.

Other than that I'm interested to see what will come of Ethereum, an ambitious and interesting project for sure, but doesn't strike me as a technology that will penetrate the mainstream any time soon.

I've also been keeping tabs on MaidSafe, and very interested to see POS Bitcoin/crypto solutions start to roll out (real debit cards, POS system integration etc)

Stuff thats already out there, of course I want to see where Bitcoin goes, but I also keep tabs on Nxt.  The Nxt guys have a serious bag of feature candy and a serious lack of adoption, would like to see them push more in that direction than just making new features that no one uses.

I've been watching ascribe.io which gives provenance and transfers ownership to digital property, and now Verisart which does similar things for real world art objects. I like these 2 projects because they are great real world use cases for bitcoin. these markets, even though they are niche, could also be very very large. (art sales is in billions annually not to mention things such as protecting copywritten digital media... also worth billions.

but I emphasize the "Real World Use Cases" aspect. these both present real problems that btc solves easily and cheaply.

Decentralized exchanges.

Same, but I'm more interested in decentralized markets like open bizarre. I'm also most excited about just certain industries getting involved with bitcoin such as the remittance market. Why they haven't adopted it yet is beyond me but I believe they will at some point and this will grow over time. At least I hope so any way.

Charing people more to use bitcoin? That isn't right. It should be less if anything. Didn't they crowndfund it anyway? Should release it on torrents so they can spread it like bitcoin for free  Cheesy.
