Same, I also think that holding bitcoin is a good investment to make money that can be used in the near future.
I'm still new in this community and I have bought my bitcoin when it is in its high price already but I because of bitcoins price volatility, Its price will keep increasing as the time pass by and I know that I can harvest a plenty of bitcoin from this seed that I planted.
The bitcoin price will rise in the long term. When the price of bitcoin is volatile and the price is low, it is better to buy. |

I`m holding my bitcoins for 6 months and the price increased from 600$ to 730$. I can`t say it sky rockets,but it`s a good increase. Yes,it`s a good way,but you have to buy and sell at the right time. How about trading bitcoin against altcoin while waiting for the price of bitcoin to skyrocket? You said that you are holding your bitcoin for 6 months and you have a growth of 130/600 or 21%. What if you invested your coins in some ICO, let us say PSB. Let us say you have bought 1 BTC and you invested that in PSB during their ICO. PSB ICO price is around 323 satoshi per coin, so that gives you 309597 PSB. Now that PSB price is around 1800 Sat, and you decided to convert it back to Bitcoin and you will get 5.57 BTC and then you decided to convert it back to dollar at $730. You will get $4066 and that is 677% growth. I am just showing some statistics here if you invest your bitcoin to some profitable ventures to increase its value exponentially. The value shown is not calculated at PSB PEak which is 9960 satoshi coz if we calculate it that way, you will get more than 30 BTC and that is convertible to $22510 a 3700% increase of your fund. Of course you need to do your research and take the risk at the same time. And yes I'm suggesting to invest your BTC while t waiting for price increase. |

Yes in my eyes investing is good and I also think that you can make some big profits with doing this if you are stay patient.
Exactly what I`m trying to do, I save and hold bitcoins I earn, and maybe its not good way to earn money right now, but in long run this investment can bring a big profit. The key of success here is patience, and only like that I can endure in long run. Its very tempting for me to see how other people make profit right now with their investment that pay out much faster then waiting for price increase. My plan for now is to hold bitcoins at least until the next halving, after that I will evaluate situation and create new plans. It is patience and to make even more profit with your holding of bitcoins you can invest in some awesome sites like moneypot or bitdice and hence you earn free profits and you can divest anytime too. But that been said each and every site has risk of running away with your money and hence take risks if you would like to. |

Yeah I also saved some when it was 500$ and now I am just waiting for the price to hit 900$ and I will sell half of my bitcoins and I will be in no loss even if I have to sell my remaining bitcoins at cheaper price which most probably wont happen though. Personally I feel like gambling all the time with my BTC but have enough determination to resist  |

And added to this sometimes bitcoins take a hike like from 200$ to 600$ in a month or so so now it can quite easily reach 1500$ or 2000$ which people would think like a new wall (actually right now people think 1000$ is a wall and BTC won't cross, which is a terrible myth) so if that happens you will make huge profits. |

It will over $800 soon, But I had been missed the train. The bitcoin was getting a possitive trend. Seems like it will always increase for next week. But not the best timing for buy bitcoin right now. And i think this trend was reducing some risk for holding bitcoin |

Yes,it`s a good way,but you have to buy and sell at the right time. Profit is profit. May I ask why you didn't buy before the price reached the $600 levels? You had enough time to buy your coins ar much lower price levels than where you bought your coins at this time. Common mistakes are that people wait too long with buying as they hope the price is going down even more. And when the price isn't going down people mostly buy in panic to not fall behind and miss out. The truth it, some has no balls, they are only good on telling things that they could have made money if they buy this and that.. But when in the situation, they are afraid to buy since they do not have enough faith with bitcoin. You very well may have a valid point, its always said that something that needs guts is " easy said than done " and yeah I have myself sold bitcoins in a panic because price was going down and I was very worried. But now doing this for a long time and I know how to deal with the ups and downs of trading and price trading. |

Right stocking/ saving your bitcoin in wallet is like also investing its value is really increasing constantly that we can just leave it in our wallet and will be amazerd that its getting higher in value. And i dont think bitcoin will lose its value now that it is adapts by many and provides lots of developments btc will last for long that it can always count on in having profits. |

I think holding a bitcoin for a long time is a good thing cause the value of bitcoin keeps on getting high just think about this when bitcoin made its first appearance the worth of 1Bitcoin is 0.08$ look how much its price grow from its appearanve

I think if you sell them now it will not be the wisest of ideas since the price is obviously expected to rise higher and higher. There is no point into thinking like that. People have had plenty of time to buy as many coins as possible below the $400 level. If you didn't buy at that time, then I hope for you that you bought your coins significantly below the $700 level. If invested in the right coins at the right time, then you most likely have made yourself a decent profit already.  |

I think the answer to this question actually will vary from person to person. In my opinion if you would have got under 500$ then yes it is always a good investment for future. But at this juncture there is little skeptical about the price as from a month almost price is being hovering in 700$ and up and down in this zone so not sure which side it will go in coming time.
