Hi all,

So, what are the latest updates about the block size issue ?

Will we settle for Gavin's 8 MB proposal ?

The debate is still oingoing and pretty heated. Some use the recent stress tests as proof that we need a blocksize increase, and others use it as a proof that we don't need a blocksize increase because BTC "didn't die". You can follow all of this on reddit where you can see gavin and others pretty often replying themselves.

it is clear like the sun that we need to increase it(or to do something, certainly we cannot remain in current situation), the last stress test speak for itself, tons of TX that are not confirmed yet, the network managed to sustain a 150 tx per second which is far behind any expectation

It is kicking off on reddit..

accusations of changing the narrative of what bitcoin is and can become:

accusations against core devs of failing to respond to the court of public opinion!

More importantly where do we BTFD? Smiley
