What about bitcoinj. I am using version 0.11-SNAPSHOT.
As far as I know, bitcoinj is just a java library. The problem described here is, if the blockchain you have downloaded is valid. So, which blockchain are you using? On your PC or an external node? Using the above version in spv mode. |

you can try to send one transaction with a very small amount, to see if it is affected, but if they have the last version it should be not |

Using the above version in spv mode. So, that means you are using an external node. You now have to find out, which version the node you are connecting to uses. If you somehow get the ip-address, you could look it up here: https://blockchain.info/connected-nodes |

Depends everything from the version of they who send btc? If they have not the last version what happen? I must wait to have 30 confirmations? And if these 30 confirmations don't arrive what happen to btc sent? To many questions but I wait btc from a cloud mining site and must know how to act. Thanks. |

Right, with Electrum it depends on which version of Bitcoin Core your Stratum server is using. AFAIK by default Electrum chooses a random untrusted Stratum server from IRC, so you probably can't (ever) trust that you're getting accurate info. |

Somebody correct me, if I am wrong, but you just have to look on blockchain.info, if your transaction is confirmed. Nobody can steal your Bitcoin, somebody could just try to trick you into thinking, he sent you Bitcoin. So, as long, as you are not planing to sell something for BTC, there isn't any problem for you. |

To know for sure, you'd have to run Bitcoin Core... As a rough approximation, you can compare the results of several block explorer sites. insight.bitpay.com and chain.com are apparently on the correct chain in this case. |

that is worrying situation if somebody received coins and sent them to other address after 1 confirmation than what will happen to that transaction if that is from wrong side of block, mostly i use blockchain's online wallet for instant transaction should i have to wait for 30 confirmations for this wallet too?

Well this is a big deal, and the timing for this is strange. We have this whole Core vs XT discussion going on and the miners from China just flexed their muscles. I see this as a small test run for things to come in the future, and we should take this as a serious threat. Where are all the counter measures, everyone was talking about, when Ghash pushed for the 51% attack? The alert should have gone out, before this happened. Just more ammunition for the damn shills.  |

This is quite unfortunate. We've just started seeing a small positive trend and now this happens. However, it seems that there has been no effect on the price yet. The majority probably don't even know. My question is, if this has been resolved (or at least partially)? At whom should we point our fingers of shame?  |
