I was curious and wanted to check how the disabled opcodes of script were implemented in the earlier versions of the bitcoin client.

In github I can only find versions back to bitcoin 0.8.

Is there any repository with the old code?

Very strange:
0.2.7 releases https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/releases?after=v0.2.7
commits in 2009 https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/commits/master?page=250

Skilled C++ and Python programmer. Looking around to create solid longterm coin by myself. Do you have any ideas? Feel free to PM me.

Thanks!  I couldn't find my way around the older versions.

The dates are strange. What happens if you start working on a branch and then make it a release? I guess you can create a fork, work on it and then that code becomes the new release. That would explain the commits before the release, but I'm not really familiar with the fine detail of github.
