How does a pump and dump group keep from pump and dumping each other? What I mean is, let's say you create a team of 12 people, and 3 of those people are "in the know" and they tell each other "we are going to tell our team to pump xyzcoin tomorrow, so buy up today and sell it off tomorrow". Do you see this as an issue? How do you plan on preventing mini-groups from forming within your group?

Well keeping it all low key, and with only 5 people kind of removes that. I am also the "owner" and will make the executive decision over the coin.
So if 2 guys team up and tell us to pump a coin they chose and bought already, we won't do it, because I choose what coin we pump.
I obviously take suggestions, but I don't let other people choose for this reason exactly.
If your interested, PM me and you can join.
First pump gonna happen soon

Interesting. Would he be able to scam Bitcoin from me with this group? I thought that this group would be using our own accounts and posting our own trades and such, so our Bitcoin is never at risk except from the trades that we do. Is this correct? If my money is not at risk of being stolen by funtotry, then I will remain in this group.

Why would you remain in a group with someone that is a scammer? The group was pretty useless anyways, whats the point of having a pump and dump group with, what? 5 bitcoins in total, what the heck are you going to pump with that, who knows what op's real intentions were.

True. Wouldn't want to be associated with a scammer. I was hoping that the group would be able to make some profits, but yeah, it doesn't really make sense to pump and dump with only a few Bitcoin.

Also, I just realized that since he would be dictating the coins, he could buy the coins before hand, tell everyone to buy that coin and he sells the coins that he has to the group, without the rest of the group knowing. Then he would have made some Bitcoin and he could run with it.

I will be leaving this pump and dump group.

I am williamj2543, doesn't take einstein to figure that out, but with this pump and dump group, I did kinda realise that you needed lots of funds. I was looking at the volume of the coins on yobit, saw most of them were like 0.1 btc, so I assumed having volume 5x or 10x that would have worked, we would have got the price up however there would have been no one to buy.

Im down, 7btc, but only if we all have that amount..

7 coins is about right. Forming a group of people with just 1 btc each is silly, you cant pump anything with just 1 coin.
If 7 btc is the number, I am down too.

I am yet to raise up to the needed amount of 0.5 btc until then I will appreciate your constant posting of your trading, the coin you pumped and the outcome, this will also bring more people to the group.

I know this thread is very old, but there are some awesome groups out there already! There is a new and rapidly-growing group that actually uses a randomizer to select the pump coin from a user-selected list of coins, that way no one can pre-pump! The group really is designed to have everyone in the group win. If you're curious, you can check out the group here: https://discord.gg/EuTu2dp
