Hello, My mac is running out of space and having the blockchain stored on it is no longer an option. Is it possible to get bitcoin-qt to read/write blocks to an external hard drive? I'm using a mac by the way. Thank you.

I guess it's possible , I was searching for you and I found this : http://bitcoin.stackexchange.com/questions/9259/bitcoin-qt-setup-change-block-chain-file-location-settings-documentation check the second post which is marked as an answer , if I understood right it's what you are looking for .
