I don't think that this news is reliable. For long, the ISIS has used this type of gory and graphic videos to recruit psychopaths and mental patients from around the world. If they stop publishing these videos on their Twitter and YouTube accounts, then their recruitment drive will take a severe hit. And right now, they can't afford to do the same.

It comes publicly from their leader. Whether or not it will prove popular with the whole organization and be respected is another matter.

BLKBITZ:

It will probably be respected and followed through with.

Now the video ISIS lot and the anti-video ISIS lot will be fighting each other. :D

Let the cameras roll as the mutual beheadings begin!

Trifixion713:

Has anyone really watched these videos? The reason I ask is because I had seen several of the beheading videos and not once did they actually show a beheading, but when I watched the immolation video of the Jordanian pilot, it was clear this had been staged and reminded me more of an MTV music video than anything. Then I saw this footage:

CyberBerkut (Google Translation):

We CyberBerkut received at the disposal of the file whose value can not be overstated!

Dear Senator McCain! We recommend you next time in foreign travel, and especially on the territory of Ukraine, not to take confidential documents.

On one of the devices of your colleagues, we found a lot of interesting things. Something we decided to put: this video should become the property of the international community!

The 3 ½ minute silent video appears to show infamous Islamic State executioner Jihadi John (aka Mohammed Emwazi) in front of a giant green screen, standing beside a kneeling hostage wearing an orange jumpsuit and a green screen hood. They are inside a lit studio with a production crew and can be seen rehearsing an “execution”. The desert scene of the set, complete with wind machine, are similar to that shown in the beheading videos of James Foley, Steven Sotloff, David Haines, and Alan Henning.

British forensic experts concluded that the James Foley video was likely staged using “camera trickery and slick post-production techniques.”

Terrorism research expert Veryan Khan said the video of Japanese hostages Kenji Goto and Haruna Yukawa looks like it was completed in an indoor studio with a false backdrop, pointing to the light source on the men that appears to be coming from two different directions — as opposed to one bright sun.

Hollywood horror film director Mary Lambert said of the Islamic State video showing the killing of 21 Egyptian Coptic Christians on a Libyan beach, that “in the opening shot all the figures might be animated. They never had more than six men on the beach … The close-ups of jihadists on the beach are most likely green screen … The sea turning red is obviously FX.”

Journalist Thomas Wictor has claimed that the Islamic State video showing Jordanian pilot Mu’ath al-Kaseasbeh burned alive was actually fake, pointing to evidence of CGI flames and video glitches.

ISIS bans execution videos because of image backlash?

Quote from: http://www.newsmax.com/TheWire/abu-bakr-al-baghdadi-execution-videos-isis/2015/07/20/id/657960/

ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi has banned any more execution videos by the Islamic State, but the orders reportedly have created a division with the organization's ranks.

ARA News reported that, according to sources, al-Baghdadi was responding to the feelings of Muslims who regarded the videos as "disgusting and scary to children."

...

"Some of IS militants supported Baghdadi's decision, taking into consideration criticism of the public that describes scenes of beheadings as barbaric," wrote ARA News' Jan Nasro. "While other militants rejected the decision saying that such scenes are meant to intimidate their enemies, represented by western powers, and not the common folk."

According to the website Middle East Eye.net, a number of Arabic-language news agencies said on Friday that Baghdadi explained his decision in a statement delivered to media offices in Syria and Iraq.

The website said Baghdadi ordered that his followers don't include scenes of the actual executions in their videos and limit them to moments before or after the act.

Sounds like banning the execution part of the videos is to prevent eroding popular support. Cuz what would they be if they lost that?

whats the point?.. they are still killing people
like removing the part that they are beheading people will change their image as  non violent org.
