This is why i always run a sandbox for new coins  Grin

That's just a false detect given by the old source used by the dev, still doesn't changes the fact that coin has major bugs

I like to mine new ALT's, given that they are bug and virus-free + have a good dev that actually wants to add pools, block explorers, exchanges,... So, if you have free time, and know you can stay dedicated to your project: why not Wink

It would be even better if you dedicated a lot more time, and came up with new and innovative development for your coin...

To be honest i wouldn't waste my time with it, but it is your decision. Maybe it is better to make a new coin where everything is working, or if you want to stick to this relaunch so it gets a fair start

I'll be sticking to it because I would like to continue the Ponycoin/Pwnycoin legacy, ever since they discontinued their coins.

Make a working source and pm us to test it. If it works, we'll be glad to run a pool for it Smiley

No way. Did he just try to release a coin AND say 'I've been wanting to learn more about cryptocurrency' ?

Yep, I did. I released a coin, realized it was filled with bugs, and then cancelled the release until I can make a better one. I do want to learn more about cryptocurrencies, but I guess this was my first step to learning more of it.

RDP is a good sollution, but you should try out the free version of sandboxie... I think it's less of a hassle than running a full RDP. Just open a completely isolated sandbox, drag the exe in the sandbox => completely isolated process...

You can make 1 sandbox for all your altcoin wallets, or use the same sandbox for all... If, after a while, you should trust the exe, you can "recover" the config files to your harddisk and run the exe out of the sandbox...
