How did you first hear about bitcoin?

I was in my 12th when I first heard about bitcoin. I thought that it was a physical currency and it is like a gold coin.But to my surprise I later came to know that Bitcoin can not be touched by hands and is very unique way of trading currency.

I heard it first when one of my friends invited me to invest online using the bitcoin. I got interested only when some of my friends on social media are earning from their bitcoin investments.

When i heard bitcoin it is from someone i don't know so i didn't believe it and i thought it was scam but when my friend was also using suddenly i become interested so he explained to me the basics and introduced me to this forum at the same time i'm doing my own research about bitcoin readin those article that is related to bitcoin and other cryptocurrency.

But When I search about bitcoin in google that's time I see what is this ! it's biggest platform, To business with bitcoin. After that I research every time about bitcoin and want to know about bitcoin more and more.

Now I following  every time in google, magazine, newspaper and some blog to know about bitcoin.

i think you missed the story how could you come to this forum , as you can collect a lot of exclusive information here that you might won't see it anywhere else. people know bitcoin for the first time due curious on how making money online and then ended up , stuck on bitcoin. that time they are looking more information about bitcoin and can't leave it, just keep earning bitcoin through many way.

Ive first heard of it on some RSS feed from HabraHabr i guess.
But i really got interested in it because of my friend who used it to transfer money from country to country. He had all this strange credit cards and i felt like not being locked to my Bank when it comes to money is a very positive experience.
The more im into crypto world there more i hate my bank.
Every simple thing is a huge deal fro them. Money transfers, stock trading, advice, documents oh my god why oh why.

I first heard about bitcoin through my brother.My brother is a bitcoin user he seems to make so much money using bitcoin.With bitcoin his life was changed he made money using his leisure time.

When i first heard about bitcoin, it is around 2014-2015, i heard my friends are talking about online currency use in Darkweb. I got curious and found out the name satoshi then further more readings on net then it leads me to bitcoin. I didn't found out or see any evidence about bitcoin that time being use in darkweb, so i didn't pay any attention. But this year i heard that there are bounties that offer cash to any willing person to post or join any discussion. So i started joining to help earn some money for my family and to help as well in financial status regarding my studies..

i first encounter the name "Bitcoin" when my office mate was talking about it. I think its November or December last year. I can considered the value of bitcoin at that time was already pretty high because just a little bit amount and it will be a thousand dollar. So i just ignore it, thinking that it doesn't have much potential for growth until i checked it again in May and amazed to see that the value of it increase a huge amount. That was the time that i regret for not participating early.
