I believe a daily job helps to keep you the connection to the real world. At least in my case. Going full-time bitcoin would drive me nuts. Not to mention that it wouldn't be that profitable, unless you want to follow Mt. Gox's business model. Otherwise, as already mentioned here, the chances for success are extremely slim. So for now I better stick to my daytime job.

Bitcoin = Gambling.
So, no way!
No, bitcoin is not gambling. Did you see the price of Bitcoin now? Investment stand for a long term period and it's same with bitcoin. How many % did you get when you invest on gold? And compare that benefit with bitcoin.

I am a student, I sometimes skipped college to work here as a signature campaign but i won't to quit of my college, although sometimes thinkable for it
i think signature campaign won't that much of time, and good for you to not quit your college, because if you do that you'll probably going to be an office boy , dont try to look at mark zuckerberg or whoever left the college and becoming success, its rarely happen and really need hardwork + luckyness I was a little difficult to regulate working time and tuition but in reality many are out of school and success like steve jobs and bill gates,

But they are not everything. We are go to school or go to collage to learn something that we like (learn some skill). And it same when you finish your collage and start your job/business. But i think aubert mean to not spend all your time on 'online' or just woking on sig campaign. You can do the other thing too. At least go out from your comfort zone.

And success is not only hard work + luck, you'll also need skills. IMO: Hard work + luck + skills = success But sometimes you can be successfull with luck alone, you'll need tons of them though P.S. Do not consider signature campaigning as a job, consider it only as a bonus while learning and having fun discussing on this forum

Will probably quit my job if Bitcoin's price keeps going upward like it is right now. If it ever reaches the $1000 mark, then I will quit my job and go full time on Bitcoin

I would not quit my day job because although it is hard work I actually enjoy my job and find satisfaction actually building something with my hands. I'm not knocking anyone who would quit their jobs.

If you are reading this, you have too much time on your hands hahaha! If you're still reading this consider sending me some btc to my wallet on my profile. Pennies make dollars and dollars make my life more interesting. Seriously though stop reading this! LOL

I would prefer to work to gain my money, thank you Well and who is saying the opposite? How are you going to get Bitcoin without working? Even posting is working, it requires time and you typing something decent requires energy. No Bitcoins for free. Even faucets take energy because you need to click. There's nothing for free out there.

This is not a right time as bitcoin is still in its initial stage. I believe that a fixed regular income is always required to live a good life and for this reason I will not leave my job. On other hand I will keep working for bitcoins for some extra income.

yes we always need a steady income, but if your income is greater in bitcoin than earning your job in the real life are you going to quit?

Even though it's better to have practical experience, I feel that it is better to learn things in theory in school. Hands-on experiences are nice but you also need studies qualifications to succeed. Even though I have been in signature campaigns for 1 year, I never treated it as a job, just a bonus. Signature campaigns don't have high payouts and are relatively unstable. IMO, it is quite stupid to skip school because of something like this. I have school too but I have never skipped it for such things. No offence though.

It's really #$%## to those people that will go full time on bitcoin and will leave it's real job and the only doings that people will do is thru signature campaign. Hello? Yeah you really getting a big payment there especially if you are high rank here but wake up because that is not forever.

Only relying on Signature Campaign as their source of income is really not a good idea if someone will leave their work just for it. Signature Campaign is not a source of income. It's a bonus here while gaining knowledge and yes it's not forever. Those who do full time on bitcoin have their other bitcoin earning method than signature campaign that really pays them well so if you have a real life job and planning to do a fulltime job on bitcoin, explore all the part of what you will do to avoid regrets in the future.

I surely won't quit my current job to get fulltime paid in Bitcoin. Volatility is way too heavy in order to ensure myself the same income every month. There are bills that need to get paid. Getting paid in Bitcoin for side jobs is for me definitely a good option as I don't rely on these extra incomes.

well i think if you thinking like that, you shouldn't leave your job, use bitcoin job as side job. i personally use bitcoin job as my side job, and people don't use sign campaign as main source to earn income, use other method like offer some skill for bitcoin.

As a freelancer, I would accept Bitcoins as side income. While its price has been going to the moon, we could expect to see better profits with it and thus maybe become full time on Bitcoin. Someday, I might work full time on Bitcoin, just to see how much income I could make

Someday, I might work full time on Bitcoin, just to see how much income I could make I agree. It is not best to accept all of your payments for coding in Bitcoin. You can expect to be paid in Bitcoin for every job you get for this forum, but it is still always nice to find a coding gig outside this forum that pays in fiat cash. Freelancer and ODesk are the first websites that come to my mind when looking for any freelance work.

Signatures? How about learning a skill... I don't care either way. Everybody has to make a living somehow.
