I use Bit2Factor as escrow which is a fully BIP38 compliant escrow system.
The bit2factor system is BIP38 compliant: it means that you need only to choose a password for the transaction,
the third party is made by the Bitcoin protocol.
https://bit2factor.com/To do the transaction we need to proceed as follow:
1) (
You) You choose a password and generate an
intermediate code in the "Generate Intermediate Code" section of the escrow page and send it to me.
2) (
I) With the intermediate code I generate a
bitcoin address, a
confirmation code ad a
private encrypted key3) (
You) You verify that the confirmation code I generated is correct in the "Verify Confirmation Code" section.
If the code I generated is correct you will have a positive message in that section after clicking the "
Verify Confirmation Code" button.
4) (
I) I send the bitcoins to the address generated at point (2) which you verified in point (3) that is
correct.
4b) (Optional) (
You) You verify that the bitcoins are arrived at the address generated at point (2) and give me confirmation of the correctness of the codes in your and my hand.
5) (
You) You pay me though PayPal.
6) (
I) I'll send you the
encrypted private key from which you will generate
Private Key (WIF) of the bitcoin address where the funds are held
At this point the transaction is completed: I have the euros and you have bitcoins.
The private key (WIF format) you generated at point (6) you have to import it in your desired wallet to release the bitcoins I sent you.
No human escrow in the middle: transaction is done fast, reliably and without hassles.
