Anyone watching Bangladesh Vs New Zealand. After winning the toss NZ asked Bangladesh to bat. They seems lost two quick wicket but so far scored 47 runs by losing 2 wickets after 12 overs.

Although Bangladesh have improved a lot recently but I still think it should be easy work for NZ. Currently the score is 115/5 in 25 overs. They'll probably score 215-220 max and with the solid batting lineup of NZ with 8 recognized batsmen. It should be easy work for them. Will probably chase it down with 3-4 wickets down at best.

NZ is not playing good cricket though. The fielding is too bad. Taylor dropped two catches in first slip, another one in the short mid on which was easy catch. Several half chances were missed. Not up to the mark. Bangladesh would lose more at-least 3 wickets.

True , they have the potential but are failing due to lack of concentration and seriousness . If senior player like Taylor isn't serious and makes silly mistakes like that then it's not acceptable . I almost considered them as title contenders for world cup , smh I don't think so.

It was an easy win for NZ as predicted while losing just 2 wickets. Martin Guptil won the man of the match for scoring 118 of just 88 balls. NZ have taken a 2-0 series lead on a 3 match series against Bangladesh. I expect it to be a whitewash.

The match between SL vs SA is turning into a tough fight as SL still require 142 runs and 5 wickets left. Though in starting SA should have easily made it one side, but SL has comeback strongly in this match and quite possible if lower batsman plays well they can even win this match.

Now they need 78 runs with just 1 wicket in hand . Would have been great if they cameback as you mentioned , Perera is still playing at 86 and is settled . If he can convert this into a victory he will be hailed a hero in SL . He has played an amazing innings till now though .

Poor Srilanka. It was a good chance for them to win this match if their top order could make a good partnership. Sad for Kusal Perera. He made a greate effort but in vain possibly.

52 runs with 1 wicket remaining. No one ever thought about this. Sri Lanka needed few more wickets in hand. Still there is a thin chance. Interesting cricket after all.

WOW! Who would have thought in their wild dream that this could happen? Kusal Perera made it happen. Sri Lanka won a historic match! WOW!
I really feel sorry for SA but Kusal Perera was outstanding. He again showed his class.

Congrats Kusal Perera, congrats Sri Lanka. Cricket is beautiful.

I just wonder if SL keeps playing like this then their Test membership is in Danger Zone. India- England already beat them convincingly in their home ground and they keep performing ridiculously bad away from home.

I happily take my words back when I said about their Test membership is in Danger.

Just hope that they will continue to fight like this in rest of the series- Red Ball Cricket-

I became fan of Sri Lankan Cricket in 1996 world cup. I saw Arjuna Ranatunga's cool captaincy. I saw Sanath Jayasuriya's sixes, consistency of Aravinda De Silva, Marvan Atapattu,  Roshan Mahanam, Muttiah Muralitharan, Chaminda Vaas. All were big star that time. They were taking out one after another big giants and won the 1996 world cup under Ranatunga's lead. Since then Sri Lanka became one of my favorite cricket team.

When I see Sri Lanka plays well it gives me good feeling. I know this Sri Lankan team is not even the shadow of the Sri Lankan team I have seen before but still this win should give Sri Lanka a positive boost that they are not done yet. They need the confidence back.

I am so happy for them.

I am expecting too see more users are going to say the same. I even one point said that they match is gone out from Sri Lanka but here we are now. Sri Lanka won the test match by 1 wicket.

Holy c*** , wasn't expecting that at all. One of the best finishes to test matches in the recent years . I actually underestimated them and thought they lost the match already . Many congrats to SL and well done to K Perera , what an innings.
