The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

If your just looking to cash out some bitcoin by paying more than the gift card is worth, I can stop by IKEA tomorrow and pick up whatever denomination your looking for as long as you either put the bitcoin into escrow and pay fees or give it to me first.  I can mail the card anywhere in the U.S. free of charge.

I am thinking a rate of 5% would be acceptable.  Let me know.

I think I was hoping that people would have IKEA giftcards that they are looking to get rid of. At 5%, I could just use the bitcoin ATM nearby as that is their fee for BTC->cash. I appreciate the offer though.

I figured as much, just thought perhaps you were trying to get some money out of bitcoin and I have a fairly close IKEA so it would be mutually beneficial.  If there is a percent above spot value that would be more worth it than using the ATM let me know and we could work something out I am sure.  Good luck with your sale anyhow.

If anyone else would like to offer the same service (buying a gift card and shipping it to me), at ~2% above current prices (negotiable), with escrow of course, PM me.

My account was hacked and under someone else's control over the past few days. Even looking at the trust feedback should show the clear difference.

I have reclaimed control of it and will be PM'ing everyone my inbox shows the hacker had messaged. Please PM me if you have further concerns and we can continue the conversation and if there are any important details we can have a public thread about it so as to keep everything transparent.

I will be locking this thread as it is no longer pertinent for its original purpose.
