To replace the dollar with bitcoin in the near future seems impossible, we all know that if the USA government is angry it will do everything possible to destroy bitcoin. I think it would be difficult to replace the dollar as long as there is no strong country that legalize bitcoin.
I don't think that bitcoin will replace dollar completley, there are people that don't like technology and don't have any mobile, and these people never will change to bitcoin. I think fiat money will be accepted always.
So the same will happen to fiat money as how cash money is getting replaced by digital transactions? Seems plausible, but still, transaction times seems to me too much of a problem for bitcoin to become widely used for day to day uses.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

you need to take into account the fact that most people are used to cash, and it will be very difficult for them to use e-currency, which also requires certain knowledge in this area.

I think that in the future e-currency will be much more user friendly. And after all, you don't have to fully understand the underlying technology. There are some basic principles but this won't be a big issue.

I don't think it will since butcoin is a digital currency and has a corresponding equivalence with dollar. Furthermore,
Despite the rising value of bitcoin, i don't think a certain country will allow bitcoin to replace its current currency since aside from bitcoin being a digital currency, it is also decentralized and it is unlikely for a government to favor such system.

It's not us who will dictate actually, there is a government who decides on this matter and it seems its not possible to replace
dollar because they do not consider bitcoin as a legal currency but it's only a payment system, there is a big difference then and that means legal currency is more superior because payment system won't exist without a legal currency.

There's no point to replace dollars with bitcoins. Dollars have a physical existence and it is a fiat currency. Everyone can accept it but bitcoin have no physically form, its a decentralized currecny. Internet is required and most of bank don't accept it. I think it will destroy the economies like every hacker will try to hack every wallets. Maybe the world will be end if it happen and lot of people will lose money if it is poorly managed.

I do not expect such a thing to happen. I do not think so. because the dollar we call the currency now has a volume that shows itself on the universal platform. perhaps a system of dollars will be established and who can guarantee that the dollar will not come as a crypto money. I think there is nothing they can not do if we consider that dollars and dollar-based governments have killed people for their authorities.

I do not think bitcoin will replace dollar soon, but I really trust it that one day bitcoin is replaced doller soon & I think it will be very good for all cripto trader.
This is true! Bitcoin is more popular than dollar at present and it is though market little bit smaller than that of dollar but it is stronger than the market of dollar. Bitcoin is the only one which has even beaten gold which was ruling market for centuries as strong mode of investment for gaining good profit. In short, bitcoin does have potential of replacing dollar in the near future because of its great popularity.

Actually not even closer to dollar , bitcoin is a digital currency dollar is a money that we can use everyday meaning it is the most powerful even though bitcoin has a more value than dollar it is still impossible to replace dollar.
Bitcoin is rising in power and demand. Price has been going upward over the last month. This is a very good sign and might be a future successor of fiat currency. I think it would definitely replace the dollar real soon.  Smiley

Cryptocurrency, to my mind, will certainly replace all the fiat. But what about less-developed countries?

Today's internet is not yet fully optimise in every society, therefore bitcoin cannot be used as it is an electronics money and that situation will impossibly replace the dollar. But i believe that days will come in the near future that the new era of digital world will rise and all will be digitalize then there will be no more physical money including dollar and the strongest virtual coin remains.

Bitcoin certainly cannot compete with dollar since dollar are more established than Bitcoin and under the current situation we are solely relying in fiat and since dollar is the most powerful currency in the world IMO, it will represent fiat I believe.

As of the current time, Bitcoin is very progressive as we can see the recent price increase and actually still rising now but to think it will replace dollar soon is just something I did not think of.

It is not like an impossible thing but maybe you can say it is difficult enough. Plus it will take much more time. Bitcoins are now being used or people know about it, this area is so short. Not much population know about bitcoins. While dollar is world known currency, but don’t worry like dollars started from scratch and see them now, same is bitcoin doing. This will happen once.

For my own idea, dollar should not be replace by bitcoin soon. Even for the coming years, but bitcoin surely  corvertable into dollar. But it should not be used as replacement to dollar. Many people access  bitcoin in such different country's and convert into cash money in their country use, bitcoin is only a currency which use to earn money but not to replace any kind of money in different country's.

It will not happen! Do you think that people will adapt the bitcoin easily? Of course no. They need first study the bitcoin for them to know how it will works. Bitcoin can't replace the dollar.
