That will not happen. because the World government is planning to have a cashless society that everyone will no longer cash to buy what they what. that is the sole purpose of the microchip implant. and Dollar is a very stable currency that it would cost chaos if it will be replaced by bitcoin. there will be a lot of debates, arguments. it will affect some of the country's economy. so it's so impossible for the dollar to be replaced by bitcoin. and if they really want to do that, they need to make sure that every country is in favor of using bitcoin too.because I heard that bitcoin is banned in China

No not true if you mean it will outright replace the dollar and dollar will cease to exist. But I will conceede that I think it will overthrow the dollar and become the number one currency shortly thereafter. My expectation is quite bullish but once people wake up and smell the cheese I think theirs will be too.

I don't think so... dollar has been there since "forever" and it is one of the strongest currency in the world. If bitcoin happens to replace dollars, that will consume hundreds of years to take place. I don't see bitcoin replacing dollars as I live

I think they will be used just like as dollars when it becomes in payments like in the convenience store or some establishment but the dollars are still the main monetary unit because it been there for centuries and it is been much more trusted than bitcoins. And bitcoins are more like an international currency for me because it can be converted to any money so if people want an international transactions in the future bitcoins will be the one.

I don't think "soon" but I do think after 15 years or so it is a definite possibility. "soon" i guess is a relative term.
I still dont think so, Dollar has been proven to be most influential and most powerful currency that has been using for most of the transaction world wide, a massive implementation of changes will be conducted world wide also if Dollar was replaced with Bitcoin, I am not agree with this, but countries who dont accept Bitcoin yet as their medium of payment will be affected as well as the people who are not ready to cope up with this kind of modernization.

When bitcoin will replace dollar, that meas that the world is completely revolutionized, as there will be no more central banks and central authority. (or may be, that central power took the control of the blockchain) We'll see, but it's very unrealistic.

Although the rise in bitcoin prices occurs significantly and the user rises drastically, but the traditional transaction system using fiat will be difficult to replace, especially the dollar which is the international currency accepted by all countries.

Definitely not for me. It is impossible that bitcoin can replace dollar soon. We all know that bitcoin price is depending on dollar so how bitcoin could possibly replace dollar if its own value is relying in real currency right? But if that's happens there will be a big changes in our world.

It can happen but not in a matter of 15 years. Once bitcoin reaches ubiquity, security and accessibility would be fully developed as well. Back then, no one ever thought we would end up using paper currency instead of stones, silver and gold. So I guess, it could really happen over time but 15 years is too short; I'm 50 years would be a good number.

I think, it can not do it anytime soon. But in the future, after 15-20 years, the bitcoin can replace the dollar. Perhaps a new digital currency will be created in the coming years and it will take the replace of bitcoin and dollar.

In time, all traditional paper currencies would be history just like the gold coins which was replaced by paper currency. And now the paper currency is a about to be replaced by digital currency in this case bitcoin.

It is not possible to replace dollars. dollar is a currency that is valid all over the world. but the bitcoin has not been as good as the dollar yet. it is also less likely to be in the future. It makes more sense to ask if bitcoin will replace gold.
Exactly. The dollar already has the trust from many people around the world, not to mention that the government backs it. Since Bitcoin is a decentralized currency, it will be hard for it to overcome the dollar, as the latter is much more friendly and convenient for government's use and manipulation. Since the dollar can be inflated and manipulated by its central banks, it makes the ideal choice for adoption in that specific country. Whereas Bitcoin and the Dollar are apples and oranges, I really do think that Bitcoin can really replace Gold in the future. It will continue to rise in value, until it becomes the most valuable asset in the world. Many big investors and VC will jump into Bitcoin, making its demand rise over the course of time. Since last year, Bitcoin has been approved for futures trading, I’d say that the decentralized cryptocurrency will continue to make strides in the mainstream world for years to come. In the future, both Bitcoin and the Dollar will co-exist leaving people with a variety of options to choose from when transacting with others, or investing for the long-term. Just my thoughts

Bitcoin is very popular and very indemand because of the idea that they can gain a huge profit and there's a great chance to become more stable financially because their money can be double or more in just a short period of time. But then, inspite of the popularity of BTC, I guess btc will not replace dollar. Dollar is much popular and being used by everyone rich or poor, young or old.

Bitcoin is going to be replaced by tokens, real economy not just empty tokens coins. Bitcoin is an empty coin, no real value behind it. The future belongs to Tokens which will be connected to real assets.

If bitcoin replaced dollar, then the world as known by us ceased to exist! It wouls mean that USA is not a superpower anymore, FMI and central banks has disappeared, and so on. So, it's very improbable.

The probability of the possibility is reasonable but I dont think that bitcoin will totally replace the dollars. I do support use and investment of bitcoin but it takes a lot of time for that to happen. Dollars is very powerful, ever since. The trust of different banks and people around the world is on it. I believe that bitcoin still needs to be legalize before it become highly possible.

This is possible. Bitcoin is gaining so much interest in different major and powerful in the world countries. But bitcoin has a long way to go. This event will not happen easily and so fast. The interests that it is getting is not always possible. There many debatable issues regarding to the usage of bitcoin and it legalization. Bitcoin has to prove its credibility in becoming an reliable and stable cryptocurrency that can function as the dollar can.
