You are bidding on a Funded 2013 Casascius .1 BTC Silver coin graded as MS-68 by ANACS. I believe there to be only two other casascius tenths coins to be graded MS-68 out there.

Starting bid: 2 BTC

Bidding Increments: .1 BTC

Buy it now: Make an offer via PM

End date and time: August 1, 2015 @ 4:00 PM EST (I believe this to be 1:00 PM Pacific time, and 8:00 PM GMT - the Eastern time will be the end time in the event my time calculations are incorrect)

Payment methods accepted: Bitcoin

Shipping Cost:$6.00 within the US, or cost plus $2.00 for international shipping, or the buyer can choose to provide a shipping label

Anti-Sniping Rules: Bids made between August 1, 2015 @ 3:45 PM EST and 4:04 PM EST will extend the end time by 15 minutes (yes bids made up to 4 minutes after the end time will extend the end time)

Newbie Bidders and bidders with Neutral trust for backing out of my Auctions:I will likely not accept bids from users with less then 15 activity, so you may not want to get in a bidding way with a newbie without checking with me first. If you are a newbie with less then 15 activity then I will likely require you to pay a portion of your bid in advance (I will refund you if you are not the winner).

Payment is due within 24 hours of the end of the auction, if you do not pay in this time then your bid will be invalidated and the accounts will be sold to the next highest bidder who will be responsible for payment within 24 hours of me notifying you that you had won the auction.

Only Pay Here >> 1CcKUAi4wJiRKxUJj1A8uAfzo572pfPBcg << Watch for Scammers
If you prefer a private address, just ask and I will PGP sign an address for you to pay to.

Happy Bidding

QS, beauty of the a coin. The hologram is perfect on it, the first bits are perfectly straight, really something! I know that ANACS and team doesn't consider the hologram in grading, but that should just imply to all of us that this coins is worth every satoshi if not much more of what an MS68 can command. The hologram appears flawless and coins with completely straight first bits are rare, very rare.

In the first thread you mentioned or implied a buy-it-now price of BTC3.5 ("BTC3.5 OBO"), is that still your target for a buy-it-now price?

Thanks and good luck to you!

Since no one had bid as of yet, changing this terms should not affect anyone surprisingly.

Forum problems: In the event that the forum goes down for more then 5 minutes during the last hour of the auction (including extensions because of sniping), then the end time will be extended for an additional 60 minutes from the time the forum comes back up. If it were to go down a subsequent time during this 60 minute extension (or during an extension due to sniping) then it would again be extended by an additional 60 minutes. This process would repeat itself until both, no one has bid for 15 minutes and the forum has been up for 60 minutes.

Wow that coin really is a beauty. I'll defiantly be watching this one and might place a bid if the price doesn't get too out of hand.

The casascius tenths are the rarest cas coins out there. There are only ~700 casascius tenths out there, and they tend to get MS65 or MS66 when sent to ANACS.

There are also really not that many cas tenths on the market, I don't know numbers off the top of my head, however they come up for sale much less often then other casascius coins.

What does this mean?

All the Casascius coins are "in the market", most if not all have been sold and distributed. I'm sure Mike kept a stash for himself but still. What do you mean that these are hard to sell since they are all in the market?

Sorry I might not have made sense.

What I meant was in the last two months more 0.1's sold or have been advertised for sale, than the months before. There have been like 2 MS-68's for sale, 3 MS-67's and some ungraded coins as well

I don't think that changes the fact that they are still pretty rare. I think a few of the coins were quickly resold after being purchased so your number is a little bit inflated.

you are correct, no other bids so far. I think people might be wanting to wait until the dusk settles regarding the high grades all these coins are getting from ANACS, although I think this coin is definitely a very nice coin.

Yes, it now looks like this is the 2nd MS68 tenth that TheAnalogKid has gotten at a steal of a deal.

I bid 2BTC
Congratulations, this is the winning bid. I will send you a PM shortly.

Damn!

Honestly, never expected it to end this way... (always wanted to say that... Smiley  ).  I figured _someone_ would toss another bid in here.  Sheesh.

A hope Quickseller doesn't call the Police on me for stealing this from him!

And yeah, I guess I by default am cornering the market so far.  But, not to worry, I have a feeling that plenty more of these in a 68 grade will exist before long, and karma will come back at me.

Naw, that is the risk that sellers take when auctioning coins like this  Tongue
