I bought an Xbox One (online) as a gift a few months ago using Bitcoin. I wouldn't say that it was much easier than using my credit card, but it was more engaging.

I have used bitcoin to buy many physical goods/items, as well as virtual ones, from lightbulbs to asic miners. There are many stores that accept it today, and i'm trying to use it as much as i can. If we all use bitcoin for our payments, it's helping with spreading awareness and support of merchants for it, so that one day every store will have bitcoin as a way of taking payments.

Sadly i havnt, Ive only been purchasing digital good with BTC yet. Hopefully this will advance irl and make more shops, resturants, etc. accept BTC
There's nowhere near me that lets me pay in Bitcoin. I have used it to buy digital goods online, but I have never brought physical goods with it yet. If we start petitioning small independent shops to accept Bitcoin they might start accepting it everywhere. Most of them aren't aware it's an option until you explain it to them. there are online shops that accepts Bitcoin as a payment option for the physical products that they are selling from appliances to gadgets and including services. it will take only a few google searches and check site review or feedback before sending coins.

Starbucks doesn't accept Bitcoin directly, but there's a phone app that you can load with Bitcoins and use to pay at Starbucks. It's called foldapp and you can sign up for it at the link below. https://coffee.foldapp.com/The nice thing about Foldapp is that you don't need to "sign up." It doesn't need your email, mobile number, social media login, or anything like that. You don't need to install an app on your device. You just go to their web site, send enough bitcoin for a coffee, and it will display a Starbucks gift card that you can scan at the register. If you have Starbucks credits left over, you can refund them to a Bitcoin address of your choice, or it will keep the card for you, using only a cookie on your browser.

That is a good effort. I also buy, mine, use and hold bitcoins. I shall help the circulation of coins and promote the bitcoin. I believe bitcoin will be accepted universally in the future. It is a liberation for all of us.

I used it to make a profit though. Here in our country we do prepaid load. I used my bitcoin to send a load to a sim card of my friends. They pay me real cash once the load came. And I am happy it helped a lot to me whenever I need money.

Bitcoin is a global currency generally and commonly accepted worldwide. But, still buying physical or real goods through btc has not been yet possible mostly. Reasons behind this is that local retailers and dealers don't know about bitcoins and don't use it generally, and in most cases in countries like india, so myself I haven't bought physical goods, but I hope to do so soon.

Same here, the place where I live nobody is aware what bitcoins is all about so it is very difficult for me to buy any physical goods using bitcoins, and that is the sadest thing for me, So I generally use bitcoins to convert it to fiat and take care of my basic expenses and also for my mobile recharge, but the best day would be when I could buy a pizza, burger or a coffee by using bitcoins as a mode of payment.

Someday it will happen when bitcoin is totally known with what it could do. People will start putting that sign bitcoin accepted here. Just like visa and credit cards.

Then you must be living in a one of the developed country. In my country it is not possible to spend bitcoin in physical unless I own bitcoin debit card. As of now I can spend bitcoin only through online for buying any digital goods.

You must not live in a place with a Starbucks. I thought they were everywhere even in Iraq I've seen pictures of soldiers going into a camp with a logo on the side of a make shift café. They accept bitcoin as a form of payment with an app serving as the middle man to make it happen.
