I have a torrent for everyone. It contains blockchain files and a newyorkc.conf to be placed in your %appdata%/newyorkc folder. http://www.trustplus.co/newyorkc.zip.torrent<--------------------------------------------------Warning------------------------------------------> This is for fresh installs only. Do not, DO NOT do this unless you are 1000% certain you have nothing in the wallet.dat file. If you dont know what that is, this procedure is not for you. <--------------------------------------------------Warning------------------------------------------> How I use it: I download and start the NewYorkCoin Software and close it. Then I hit start, run... %appdata%/newyorkc some people may need to goto %appdata%/roaming/newyorkc . Finally, open the zip file, double click the newyorkc folder, control+A, and control+C. Go back to the %appdata%/newyorkc folder and right-click paste. When you start the wallet back up.. it should scan the new blockchain data and sync up fast. Do not follow this! There is new wallets in place. Please be patient and wait till new wallets are out and confirmed. |

It takes some time to write the full blockchain to the database. It has been around 24 hours since I started syncing it. If you want to check any block, even if the explorer hasn't gotten up to it you can, but the richlist and total coin supply won't show up until it has fully synced. You can also get directly to the block explorer without the extra website header by going to http://nyc.miningalts.com |
