Assuming the world economy doesnt collapse before bitcoin does, I think there will still be a broad gaming industry.

guess what, all of the GPU's that we love for mining ?? they also work pretty darn good for playing games.

I'm pretty sure there will always be some market for video cards on eBay.

It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.
