No, because people don't trust developes that they would spend that $100k on the coin and not just scam people and disappear.

Depends on what project you in mind. Personally, I would rather not touch ICO until market is released and dev has delivered. Scammers have ruined ICO for everyone and everyone have their guard on when it comes to investing in ICO...so when you see an ICO that have collected over 100 BTC..you should sell your coin as soon as it's released (normally it pumps after ICO) and then wait till dev has delivered before getting in again.

there are ton of dumb morons out here in altcoins world, you just need to find way for these morons to bite your bait. it's just like fishing but with dumb human being.
i have seen ton of ico which have raised ten of thousand of dollars then the dev disappeared to create another one
don't worry these morons will working hard to find money for you to scam over and over again.
all you need to do is find a very good idea(bait) and watch free money keep rolling in, bobsurplus is very good at this so you might need to private message him and pay some fees

100k$ is not too much. It's possible to raise that money in a IPO stages if the coin is really good.
