Personally, i more like looking for bitcoin by my self rather than borrow bitcoin. It is right that will take a long time to collect many amount of bitcoin but i more relax than I should have a pressure to pay it back.
But sometimes when borrow bitcoin to make a business which it is was integrated good business. May be borrow bitcoin is a solution. But make sure you will get back that money and take profit from your integrated business.

Me too, I'm avoiding to borrow bitcoin. Because when you have debt to someone you are really forced to pay for it. And your trust will be marked if you aren't able to borrow. It is useful to borrow bitcoin if you just really need it for emergency purpose and investment purposes. But if you are just going to use it for your pleasures it isn't useful at all. |

When is it useful to borrow bitcoin? Considering that it is really hard to get a loan here on this forum even with escrow, and the plentiful amount of scammers floating around here, is there really a great reason to even bother getting a loan here? I mean unless you're flat broke I could understand but even still it's an uphill battle. It's way easier to take out a cash advance in an emergency. I suppose if you're dealing with a trusted borrower and trustworthy escrow you may have a chance in obtaining your funds. Other than that, it can be difficult for a scam-less transaction to take place.
Yeah when is it usefull to borrow bitcoin i think it is not really profitable to borrow them now because the price is to high for now. You are 100% right if you are gonna borrow some bitcoins right now you will not make a lot of profit and the fact is holding is now way better compared with other methods. A borrow will make you confused and difficult to think and limited your step to reach profit, please never to try borrow bitcoin from someone. maybe better to borrow money from family and using this for your funds. |

when you need to buy something important and worthwhile but it has to give you a return on it so I'd borrow bitcoin to start a business I wouldn't borrow it to waste on rubbish crap like ps4's and garden tents.

when bitcoin price rising and altcoin price fail, you can buying some altcoin with your loan, then after altcoin price rising, sell your altcoin and repay the loan.

I think loaning is almost the same as buying coins. You borrow when the price is stable and on it's low price. Im not suggesting to borrow this time because we see that bitcoin price is keep changing it's price, it's going up and down very fast. |

Bitcoin will not going down soon and that is because you have to take a look at it, you can now see that the value of Bitcoin will be more worth so that would be really nice for people who already have Bitcoin. But the bad thing is that you cant even know what will happen later in the future and that is the problem with Bitcoin. You have to borrow it when the value is low of Bitcoin so you have a higher chance that you can sell it with a lot of profit and that is perfect for yourself. So around this time it wont be smart to borrow it because the value of Bitcoin is still rising. |

So where is the profits there even the price will increase? |

Unlike lending in the fiat money, there is a stable procedure and value of money. Unless you have agreement to signed online to work out it to both of you. And for borrowers, it is useful if you are going to borrow bitcoin for building up your website, paying up services or for trading. |

I don't think its for profit or anything, Its just useful on anytime because everyone has sometimes problems with their monthly payments or something. And if you than borrow your bitcoins you can pay them, its not always good to do but it can be good as well. |

Any time it could be "useful" if you really need the money but it isn't "profitable" because btc can drop in an instant while the Dollar value is more stable to the country but that is just my insight. btc is a great way to lend money although it is dangerous to loan it. |
