i voted $500-$750 as i think it is quite reasonable. it's going to be a bullish year.
of course it's just a prediction but not one that certainly is a decent one.
There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

After seeing the poll results. I tend to believe $300-$400 will be the high in 2015!

Always wrong until not.

I believe we'll peak at about $3'500 now. I know it sounds almost unrealistic at this point, but hey, it's just what I believe is going to happen, man. Please don't take this as trading advice.

I love that so many see the price to be over 2k$

But reality is that it wont be higher than 500$ max.

Ofc I hope that it will go a lot higher, but I just dont think its possible.
Agree. that is why I voted $400-500 range. I simply don't see it higher this year. 2015 is a base-building year and the preparation for the next halving event. the real fireworks are to be expected next year, not this one.

I'm also expecting the halving to have some effect but have similarly heard a lot from others about expectations for halving - wouldn't that mean that it's likely that the buying for those popular expectations happens far earlier than the actual event?

I think the halving and the ETFs coming online will be the two next major events, but the timing of the latter is also unknown.

$400-$500 seems like reasonable growth from now until the end of the year, I've just never known BTC's price to do anything in a reasonable manner for long before it goes apeshit one way or the other.

I think we can forgot about 1'000 dollars, not in these 5 years.Maybe when the block reward will be less than 0.50 btc I think we can start thing 1k dollars/btc.
A simple question, do you buy 1 btc for 1000 dollars? A question for all the forum users.

Of course I'd be delighted to if btc traded for 10k normally.

I can't understand the minds of people who ask such silly questions.

Plenty of people did once upon a time. When there's a compelling reason to do so, plenty will again.

I'll buy BTC 5 figures and not for day trading purposes either. Breaking 10k will be a process though.

There is no point to vote soon. First the market has to find THE bottom, then we'll have an idea how long it takes to build the new bull market.

I am fairly sure the bottom will be somewhere between $230 and $250 or so. We are likely to see a large rally within a few months at most.

I think the $2000~$5000 is likely to happen somewhere this year. Higher is possible, but I am not so sure it will happen this year. Maybe next year if there's a 'double-bubble' (which could also happen around the end of the year if the next peak will be before summer).

The peak price so far in 2015 remains USD 321 at 1am on 1 January 2015.
The July peak just didn't quite break through.
Any new predictions for the AYH of 2015? Or will it be 321?

I think we might reach a higher value than the january value for at least a short while this year. But probably not too much more, I would guess that it will be under $400/coin. Which is a good thing, because more time to accumulate.
