Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

I just want to know, how is calculated the post quality ?
It is the percentage of posts with 75 characters or more not including quotes. See the op.

Oh, now I understand my rating. I'm sorry I didn't saw it in the OP. That's a nice script. My account is valuated aproximatively 0,2BTC, that's nice, even if I'll never sell it.

Very useful tool for estimation. This is pretty useful for merchants, as a foundation for trading accounts.

This is an interesting script. I may never sell this account but it sure is a good tool to quickly calculate the value of your Bitcointalk account. If there is ever need to sell my account I will consult this tool to find out how much it is worth roughly.

Signatures? How about learning a skill... I don't care either way. Everybody has to make a living somehow.

bctalkaccountpricer is working fine for me thank you for providing a free service. It is working really fast.

I tried running the github code in my wamp localhost server and it didn't work, I will try it in a vps later.

It is the percentage of posts with 75 characters or more not including quotes. See the op.

Is it 75 characters or 75 words ? And what is exactly the percentages for cool (under which percentage to be more exact) ?

In the github source code you can find it.

if(post.length() >= 75)
goodPosts++;

https://github.com/achow101/BitcointalkAccountPricer/search?utf8=%E2%9C%93&q=good

So it is based in characters.

It seems that it is 75 characters including white spaces on the posts.

I wish good luck to knightdk, i recommend also to many users here as this website is free to use, and i hope you are earning a little bit from the ads.

You need to download gwt and use it to compile the code. Then use a web applications server like apache tomcat in order to run it.

People on this site buy and sell accounts (buy: to join signature campaigns, to scam - sell: selling a loan collateral), so a tool like this helps people easily evaluate the price of an account.

The reason you set up this subject is what?

If you have lots of posts and you have no idea what is your potential activity then it is hard to manual counting it.

You have to calculate if you have ever posted in every 2 week period since the date you have been registered in forum.

But now it has been easily with just one click you can know all details without worrying if you made any mistake while counting.

It is not just you that you have been faced with this, it is almost a bug and OP has been notified before.

He says that he was rying to fix it but he had not time it is a little hard to find.

I'm pretty sure that that bug exists in both my site and the other potential activity counter site.  Even doing a manual count returns the same potential activity. I think it is actually a forum bug since I am pulling the activity straight off of the profile page.

@knightdk, may i suggest you something, i haven't read complete the code
But i think that this can be fixed in this way, at the end of the process before showing the result i would do this:
If Potential_Activity < Activity then Potential_Activity = Activity , this would show the same number of both.

You can earn 14 potential activity for every two week period that you have posted in.
